In this clip, Nicholas Irving discussed how he avoids getting into altercations with civilians considering the level of training he possesses in addition to the ways he’s used that training in real-life scenarios in the past. Irving said if it came down to a fight in the streets with someone he’d “eat someone’s face off.”
Later, Nicholas talked about feeling remorse and whether he fears karma for the things he did while in the military and how he copes with that violent past.

This is the first interview where I have seen him smile, that was refreshing. This interviewer is touching on topics other interviewers avoid, which is why this is such a riveting interview series. It touches on life, death, spirituality, bravado, killing in the name of country, this is worthy of an award.
He will crack a smile when talks about war too

When he talked about not holding on to those dead souls that was deep. I think that could be the same for a civilian like myself. Don’t hold on to negativity or bad energy. Just live for peace, happiness and your loved ones and god will forgive you for your mistakes and sins when it’s your time

He’s says that at the end of the interview but you’d have to join to hear what he said or wait until VLAD post’s it.
Respect him for what? Aside from culture and emotion, he is basically saying that you can refrain from hurting civilians over here because he will get permission from the cops/us government to kill or take any frustration out on their OPs...
I totally get why he is someone to be respected but when we actually think about it...
I did 20 years and I tried to get my sons to join. You don’t have to be a killer, there are so many jobs you can take in the military. You can be a fucking weather man, an intelligence analyst, information security. Take those skills, get your top secret security clearance, get the free training and get paid on the outside. You can get that in 3 years.

As a veteran myself, I am around other veterans on a daily basis whom never been to war but love to paint themselves as the All American patriotic hero that would kick anybody's ass about their country. Its very refreshing to see someone who's really been thru the trials of war turn around and denounce that ultra patriotic motto yet not be unpatriotic about it; introspective rather.

My cousin is a Retired Marsoc Marine Raider I've seen first hand what this man is saying my cousin is a happy man likes to joke but I witnessed someone try to test him he immediately went into combat mode he just told the guy I've been waiting for this moment since I retired this is gonna end very badly for you don't even try this the guy knew he was messing with the wrong one it amazes me some of the restraint these operators have
I totally understand. Similar situation, but I was Army. I moved back home and people saw me for the 1st time since 1999 when I graduated and they forget people grow up and live life. A couple of younger gentleman wanted to jump me and I explained to them that it should have already happened. I’m was going to shoot one and fight the other, one on one. Someone intervened and told them I was from the town, and he explained that I was way older than them and I was in the Army for a long time. He saved me from jail time or getting hurt later on down the road.
I've seen the same. Them dudes go into survival mode QUICKLY

I’m no army ranger I’m by no means some unstoppable force of a man. But I can definitely relate to go the distance to win a fight. That is the number one reason I keep my hands down in my adulthood.

I’m not a particular fan of Prez & I’ve seen comments about his questions through out this series and how good they are. Every time I play a new clip, his questions keep putting a smile on my face. I’m happy for both of them. For his great questions and for the interviewee getting the respect they deserve through the throughout questions. Just giving props here. On the other end of this note, none of it is shade to Vlad. I appreciate the different flavors.

There are civilians and enemy combatants.Although the lines distinguishing the two can seem blurry..The EGO is usually the catalyst for things to go wrong.Self discipline and a mindset that knows it's skill set, competency and probable outcome usually finds the best results.
