    That's great and I'm sure the kids enjoyed being able to ride around with Dad!

    will definitely be doing this to mine but will leave a little more room directly behind the seat so that if for any reason you have to get to your battery, your hand isn't pinched or rubbed raw by the plywood. great video though.

    I've been planning to build one of these for a while. I have some metal poles from an old trampoline that didn't cost me anything. I basically want to make a canoe rack that can also be enclosed. Maybe haul ice fishing gear or whatever too. An added bonus of an enclosure like this is that I could park it outside in the elements, including the extreme winter here and it'll kind of be its own garage! Haha

    I have almost exactly 4wheeler a 1998 Honda fourtrax 450ES green AWD . We have horrible winter in Utah this year to much snow and actually we need the snow in Utah. I plow snow with my Honda fourtrax but I would love to have a enclosed cab to be warmer and dry . You have awesome idea. Thank you so much for sharing

    Excellent prototype. Well done. One thing I noticed was the handlebar main beam light looks obstructed by the transverse plank at the bottom?

    Not to hate, but if you role it, you can’t jump off, so most likely if you role it you’ll be stuck in it, and I don’t think that wood will hold, so you’re kinda dead

    Just wondering what was the weight of it and could you tell if the extra weight bother it

    • @HillendaleBros
      @HillendaleBros  3 роки тому +2

      Maybe about 60 lbs. Did not bother the atv

      ithink it could have been done with 2x2 sticks and ¼ plywood and plastic banister guard for babies instead,

    hello, did you come to the front and rear iron when assembling the cabinet? Or did you mount it on the front and rear guard rail? How did you do it exactly?

    Would of been much lighter using box cection metal welded it

    I feel like this is a lot of unnecessary added weight from the money in materials spent on this you could of bought a tent fabric pop up one and weighs a minimum of a pound

    • @adamr8628
      @adamr8628 8 місяців тому

      It's true that it'd be heavier than fabric but also more durable and less rustling in the wind, better weather protection. Depends what you use it for. I'm building one because I want to haul a canoe and other gear and I definitely don't want a tent. A little bit of extra weight isn't going to affect much, they're already heavy.
