Hello UA-cam friends, and welcome to another wonderful video from Paddy's DIY
In this video I'm continuing to rack out my new Ford Transit 350 van. I'm going to be making storage for my ladder, step ladder and multipoint locks.
I have never been a fan of storing ladders on the roof of my van. The important thing for me is that I can access my ladders quickly. So the ideal place to position them is behind the glass rack, so I can slide them out the back door when needed. The ladder I own is just the right size for this van.
As a locksmith I also need to store full length multipoint locks etc. Again the best place for this is behind the glass rack. Most full length multipoint locks are about 2 meters long. I'm reusing a couple of postal tubes that I had left over from the windowanddoorparts.ie days. These tubes are perfect for this.
So that's it for this video, stay tuned for the next video in this van racking series, which will be about building a work bench.
Thanks for watching. Please Like, Subscribe and Donate if you can!

Paddy. I am stuggling to find replacement handles for an old Hueck Hartmann door and window system I have. Would love to be able to chat to someone about it, if you have any contacts?

The only place i know that have hueck handles are northwest hardware
      store.northwesthardware.co.uk/index.php?route=product/search&search=Hueck
To be honest if they are the same handles as the ones on the link above. Just buy universal blade/fork handles. You'd buy 4 or 5 for the price of one of them

      @@PaddysDiy thank you.
I managed to contact Hueck themselves and the handle is discontinued. They apparently have some blades still that can send me. But they are not quick to reply to email.
All other ones I've seen are about 5mm too long.
      Really frustrating at this point.
Is it possible to replace entire locking systems including the bar that does the locking etc?
I'm finding it hard to belive I have to change entire door and window systems because a handle is not available anymore

If i were you i would contact a good window repair company or locksmith. Worst case scenario would be replacing all the gear but a good repair company would know of alternative products and solutions.
