Hello UA-cam friends, and welcome to another wonderful video from Paddy's DIY
In this video I'm continuing to rack out my new Ford Transit 350 van. I'm going to be making storage unit for my window espag mechanisms and a work bench with storage.
This is the 6th or 7th van that I have racked out. I have used sliding drawers in the past, but they didn't last long before I had started having issues with them. I also had pigeon holes in another van, which worked ok, but was always difficult to find exactly what you were looking for. The best system I have used is this one in this video. Essentially, cubby holes with plastic containers that can be removed and placed on the workbench top to find what I'm looking for. Simple, effective and cheap. The containers I use are from IKEA. They are the cheapest and most robust I have found. It won't win any awards for beauty, but I don't mind. Practicality is the most important factor in my mind.
So that's it for this video, stay tuned for the next video in this van racking series, which will be about building a storage unit at the side door.
Thanks for watching. Please Like, Subscribe and Donate if you can!
