Welcome to Day 19 of our morning yoga challenge! I'm going to take you through a stretchy yoga class for flexibility with our intention of the day being COMPASSION. This is suitable for all levels and no props are required. We will do poses like cat/cow, Warrior 1, side low lunge and child's pose.
The "Flexible Body, Flexible Mind" 30 day morning yoga challenge is designed to help you stretch on and off the mat. This is a free yoga challenge suitable for all levels with no props required. The squatted hamstring thing made me question my existence
That squatted hamstring stretch was tough, but it was helpful to remember self compassion instead of getting bogged in “doing it right”

I have never thanked you for what you've done here. I've been benefitting from your videos for 4 years now and they have helped me so much. My awareness of mind and body is a hundred times what it used to be. Thank you for putting in so much effort for us, it's really special 😊
Day 19 complete! I can't believe this challenge is almost over, it's flying by! I can tell I'm going to come back to these sequences though, the arm circles in Warrior I felt amazing!

Skandasana was the first pose in the challenge that was a definite no-go for me; not the strongest knees, I guess. Surprised there was no modification offered! Enjoying the series.

Another fabulous flow! I have a some compassionate reflections on my Skandasana. I'm pretty mobile in my hips and on one side I have to lean forward quite a bit in order to not fully rest my glutes on the mat. On the other side, I'm low but easily keep my back side an inch or two off the mat and can sit taller. My "other side" seems to be the more ideal expression of the pose. I'm wondering what adjustments I can make or muscles I can strengthen to bring my two sides into better balance. Something to ponder...suggestions welcome!

I try to do your 10 min everyday., for at least the last 5 years. this series is much aofter in sound, I have to use the phone in order to hear you.
Such a lovely class! I would love your advice, when in skandasana, if I'm trying to get my heels to the floor, is it better to stay higher with my feet flat and stretch out that way, or sink as low as I am able with heels up and stretch into my calfs and ankles? Are there any classes you have that you'd recommend to help with that? thank you!
