Born in 1996, been a fan all of my life. Nothing makes my blood boil more than seeing what Bob Quinn and Matt Patricia did to this team

  • @WeezyD313

For a person who’s first QB was Joey Harrington this was very cool and informative.. I thought I was the only one who felt like I felt and I’m only 31. Can’t wait for this playoff game!

Every minute of that made me sick to my stomach, until the last 10 minutes. Worth it.

Seeing them lose to the cowboys in 2014 still hurts to this day that defense was the best we put on the field in a long time an to lose the way we did on a flag that was picked up 😢

You know, Sheila Hamp really deserves so much credit for this organization's turnaround! Her decisions to hire Spielman as an Advisor; who then helped her target Holmes and Campbell, are the main reasons we're here! Nobody thought this is where we'd be 3 years ago. But here we are! Now go win a playoff game boys!!! And prove that the Lions are for real!

Man the years of pain and heartbreak in this video are beyond description... for those of us who have suffered through it all... you know. I began watching with my (die-hard) father back in 93 and didn't really care about the team back then, so only pretended to celebrate their NFC Central Division title win. Another 3 years though and I was hooked, and have been ever since. This feeling right now is the best EVER!!

I'll never not have a grudge against the Cowboys after that 2014 playoff game. We were CHEATED!

  • @slothyman3518

Valenti spot on with the Matt Patricia disaster after the first game

  • @OpticLOLJKS16

The NFC was cursed as shit during those play offs. Lions get a call rescinded against the Cowboys, then Dallas gets screwed over by a catch being overturned in Green Bay, then the Packers blow it against the Seahawks only for Russel Wilson to get his pass at the 1 yard line get picked off to lose the super bowl.

  • @lakerskid2013

Even though the Lions may have fallen short in the NFC Championship game against the 49ers, the 2023 season is just the beginning of more success to come forward for them. They are going to have something to build off of from this season.

“Only 1 AVERAGE Sanders season away from breaking the all time rushing record”

Just wish my brother could have seen this team. He was the biggest Lions and UM fan. He’d be so happy. RIP Big Kev!

  • @raulrivera94

Spielman is the guy who turned this franchise around.

Imagine getting rid of Slay, Diggs and Tate, and then staying the head coach the next year. When they announced Quinntricia would return for another year AND they would be expected to be playoff contenders?? I wanted to vomit, revolt and laugh my ass off!!! That year was almost as tough as the 0-16 season. Those were the dark years.

  • @louisminati

Jimmy Schwartz! What a G. That Lions team was fun to watch. Thanks to him fixing my Browns defense too. Cheers to you Detroit! Couldnt be happier for you

  • @Knabtube626

As a Browns fan, CONGRATULATIONS LIONS! You guys have earned it. Soak in this moment the way we soaked in our 2020 playoffs. Enjoy the ride.

This video deserves more love. Well done, especially the throwback stuff.

I love the Lions and I am not even from there, and never been there. Their road reminds me a lot of the Bengals, and their journey. I live 20 minutes from downtown Cincinnati and follow the Bengals. I am a Oregon Duck fan always since 99, but love the NFL.

Excellent video showing the fall to the rise of the 2023. i have been a fan of this organization since 1976, when i was 6 yrs old. Seen the good, the bad, and the thoughts of grandeur. This is the only team I can say I believe in to get that next check mark of a playoff victory. Superbowl if they can but damn just a play off victory and a chance to go to the NFC championship again. I was at the Silverdome when Green Bays Sterling Sharp caught that wide open pass from Farve, nothing against them it was an excellent play and execution, but that shit hurt hard. LETS GO LIONS!

I was born in 93 and it’s still shocking to feel the way I feel, knowing what we’ve endured since I was a sparkle in my dad’s eye. We’re so used to something bad happening with this team, it almost feels unreal. But hey, this is what was destined to be. Congratulations to my Cartier Cats
