Pastor, PA and maid are on a payroll. When they move to wife, will that be the same? As for feminism, I'd like to see the church dissect it, rather than just dismiss it. It may not be the right way but the REASONS many women become feminists are valid and can be addressed by the gospel.
PS
I think some of this advice is for traditional couples. Some women will just go out and buy their perfume or phone if they need one. Men need to study their women to know what makes them tick and do what works for them.
That final word is gold! Yield to The Holy Spirit.

@@IfunanyaEzenduka I've watched in and am sorry to say her analysis of it wasn't the best. The church needs to engage rather than dismiss feminists because not all their ideas are bad. In fact feminism (imperfect as it is) has filled gaps the church was unwilling to. We know that in Europe, feminists fought valiantly for women's rights to a good education. Missionaries in Africa did the same. That is common ground both sides could work with. One thing they both care about is social justice.
