The Kurds are not well known and that’s probably for “good” reason. When you learn your Bible history and understand, why. I, myself live in Alabama (Roll Tide) and I learned about the Peshmerga since the first? war with Saddam in the early 90’s and almost just like Israel their outnumbered surrounded and manage to stay alive and always fight for their rights. I admire them and know about the women of the Peshmerga and how brave they are fighting side by side the men and against an enemy we can barely understand here in America.

Something that will also be cool is that the Assyrian Triangle would become an independent nation as the rebirth of Assyria or at least an autonomous region within an independent Kurdistan. The Assyrians are Christian.
The Kurds fully support the creation of a region for the Christians in the Ninevah plains. It’s a constitutional right for all Iraqis.
This quickly became one of my favorite places to get info about the history past present and future. Also to help restart my walk with The Lord!

My prayers and good wishes go out to the people of Kurdistan and people of goodwill everywhere in the region. Kurdistan is what can happen when people want and struggle for peace. I have followed them through the ups and downs and love to see good things happen for these people. What a beautiful place. I'd love to visit. What an incredible history. We are connected with these people through the Bible and support them as our brothers.

Thanks for this upload. Its very informative it would have been better if you added how one travels to Erbil, what kind of trade the Kurds are into how we can pray for them. I think the British made a gross error when they divided Iran, Iraq, Syria and Turkey. Because they left out out the Kurds Kurdistan should have been a separate country right then I wish UN will recognise this as a separate country so also the Iraq and the Ayatollahs. But for the Kurdish Peshmerga ISIS would not have been defeated as Obama and Kerry had ulterior plans to spread Jihadi Islam . Probably thats the reason they didint get the kind of support they were looking for.
