    I have stayed in Erbil. Kurdish name is How-laer. The skyscrapers are new additions. There weren't any in 1981December to 1983 July era. Tea cup size seems to be bigger. I have spent time in the market, to carry bedspreads. The food you ordered: I guess I recognised NAN. I guess the city size has increased.

      Significant transformations have taken place since 1991, the year when Kurds achieved semi-autonomy and established their own president, parliament, military forces, postal service, and borders. The only remaining aspect preventing us from attaining nationhood is global recognition; aside from that, we possess all the necessary attributes of a self-sustaining nation.
      Presently, the region of Kurdistan that is intertwined with Iraq has experienced remarkable progress in terms of development, safety, and freedom. Regrettably, the remaining parts of Iraq are still recuperating from the 2003 invasion and grappling with environmental obstacles, like droughts, particularly in southern Iraq.

    Just a note on a comment you made on Newroz
    I am sure you know Newroz is both Kurdish And and Persian New years with two different calendars…
    For persians Newroz is more an indoor event around Kitchen table,
    For Kurds its all an out door event.
    Newroz has been celebrated ever since the Medians and then Persians also celebrate it.
    Plz call it as it is
    Kurds are not celebrating a Persian New year
    This is a celebration of Re birth.

    • @mansoureh
      @mansoureh  2 роки тому +4

      Thanks and yes, Nowruz is celebrated by many people in many countries including Kurdistan, Iran, Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and many others 😀 so it is more than a Persian new year

      @@mansoureh yes, it is celebrated all countries of Indian subcontinent as well , Naw itself is from sanskrit language that means new , after arabic invasion who denied to be converted moved to the east to save the life and took their language and culture all the way to south east Asia, anyway Iran itself is land of Aryan , kurdish also indo-european language , sadly people are using sword instead of word in the name of religion since few hundreds years while this civilization are thousands years old at that time there was not rule any religion

    • @Kurmanci955
      @Kurmanci955 Рік тому

      @@Binodji Hello
      in the neolithic age The neurotic people of that era had fire, and when lightning struck a tree, that fire would never go out because that was before they found fire. they believed that he had sent the god Ahura Mazda to the fire.
      And this fire meets all their needs and sometimes they worry about the fire or what they will do if this fire goes out.
      These neolithic people find fire, this fire both extinguishes and they light it by themselves. so they dance and jump over it, rejoicing that we have found the new fire.
      and these neolithic people wanted to give a name to the fire they had found. If "new" is new, the name "Roz" is the same color as the color of the first sun in the morning and the color of the sun at sunset in the evening. They named it Nowruz
      In other words, the word Newroz has no equivalent in Persian, Turkish or Arabic.
      The history of the Kurds is told very differently on Newroz
      Newroz is the holiday of the Kurds, the neighboring countries of the Kurds celebrate Newroz, not theirs.
      They call it the umbilical cord, the name of the umbilical cord that is cut while a woman is giving birth is "New".
      The word "Ro" means sun in Kurdish. ("New-Ro-z I hope I explained well)
