Love how the Texans are being portrayed as only adding Diggs, like they didn't add a ton of defensive guys including Danielle Hunter, while also adding Joe Mixon, resigning Schultz, and then of course adding Diggs. Tua isn't going to have time to throw to Hill with Hunter and Anderson in his face all game. Buffalo, come on now. No wide receivers, cut most of their defense starters, and a big question mark at head coach.
Buffalo wasn't winning with the team they had- that same DEFENSE that couldn't stop Patrick mahomes for 13 seconds. So I'm all for defense changing. Offense is a different story😁

Bills native here and yall were better off building more young Talent, Diggs has no Team Camaraderie, and is a problem child for young QBs. Egos flare up and when he doesn't have 15 targets a game he brings negative media attention which will be a problem for the Texans. He doesnt fit in with Teams that have old school mentality. He also dropped some big passes in multiple playoff games.

Ya dont get it. Buffalo is proven. They are playing first place schedules every year and still finish in first place. Houston played a 4th place schedule and now won their division. This year they will be playing division winners instead of bottom feeders. 9-8 is a good season with the upgrade in competition

Allen has the most TD's by a QB since 2019 by like over 22 TD's than Mahomes... He is far better than what ppl give him credit for. Last 3 years Josh has 47 and Mahomes had 39 INT's , the media overblown it all.

Josh Allen showed he was on the brink of exploding this team a whole new level, and Diggs was the crutch on the new system. With fresh defense and a clear mind free of internal drama Buffalo could easily win the AFC.

Obv we don't know exactly how Diggs will translate on field, but you are a reactionary idiot if you truly buy into this diva narrative so much that you think of Diggs as third grader who'll throw tantrums if he doesn't get 200 catches in a season. He's made every team he's gone to significantly better than they were before him, is incredibly consistent, and was NOT the issue in either of the offenses he left. You can cry about locker room toxicity all you want to but whether or not Diggs made his frustrations with the Bills offense last year known, that offense still would have been doomed to mediocrity.

For real. The Houston Texans got valuable exp last year beating the browns in the playoffs. They stuck with the Ravens for half of the game but after a while just didn't have enough weapons or Defensive prowess to stay with them the entire game.
That and Lamar Jackson was having a great day. One of his better play off games for sure. The next game Lamar went back to being Lamar however. People that are sleeping on the Texans, just don't know. They will learn.

the texans played a last place schedule and the bills played a first place schedule last year. the bills were 5-2 against teams that made the playoffs last year, the texans were 2-3. the bills have won the division like 5 years in a row, are winning double digit games all of those years and have a qb who is consistently in the top 5 mvp voting. houston is a very good young team with a really impressive qb coming off an outstanding rookie season and an impressive young roster and coach. but to say they have clearly surpassed the bills at this point is kind of ridiculous isn't it? lets wait and see a little before we started making claims as if they are clear facts

Shannon's whole thing was putting Buffalo ahead of Houston which is straight up wrong on any objective measure. There's nobody they are going to draft that would put them ahead of the Texans with how much their roster was decimated in the offseason and how much Houston added to their roster on BOTH sides of the ball, plus special teams. They're already top 5 most complete rosters in the league.

Anyone who brings up Gabe Davis like SAS did, I just can't take them seriously like they watch the Bills. Diggs is a loss, Davis is not lol. SAS is riding that mainstream wave because its the hot splash at the moment. UNC knows. Bills will be fine on offense. It's a 2% chance to make the playoffs after firing the OC of said team, and the Bills did it. New core started to get built 2 years ago. First it was Cook, then Kincaid (and they still have Knox), next will probably be the new #1 WR this year in the draft to complete the new core, and they added Samuel and still have Shakir who was outplaying Diggs on way less targets. Not saying Shakir is better, but he is a play maker. They got rid of injured players and age with the cuts. They have the 8th ranked corner from last year in Douglas, the 13th ranked corner in Benford on the other side, 1st ranked slot corner in Johnson still in the secondary. Bernard had a mini breakout year at LB, and all pro LB Milano will be coming back. Saftey hurts and I hope they pick up a vet on a 1 year deal until next years draft, or maybe move up this year in the second round and get one. They also need an actual pass rushing threat (for the last 5 years). The Bills won with a lot of injuries and back ups last year and every game was basically a playoff game for them since like week 12 and they won out. All while this winning was going on Diggs wasn't producing and was unmotivated. People are sleeping or talking like they watch the team but whatever, just make the playoffs at least. Hated the SB favorite stuff every year anyway.

What's funny is the reason the Texans couldn't stay with the Ravens after the first half of their final playoff game, was because they didn't have enough good WRs to throw to. No one was able to get open due to the injury to Tank Dell and lack of depth at the position.
Had the Texans been able to keep their offense on the field longer, the defense would have more than likely held up better because they would have been better rested between each possession.
If CJ had Tank Dell or Diggs opposite of Collins the outcome is almost certainly better for the Texans. That gives the older and less productive Woods the space to work the slot better. Not to mention they have upgraded at a few positions by going after big time proven vets that are still very productive. They were able to go on a spending spree because of their core young talent on dirt cheap rookie contracts. Shannon will be eating his words almost surely.
Four years ago, everyone predicted Buffalo to win the Superbowl. On paper they looked unbeatable. This is where Houston is now. On paper they look great. In reality, they have a sophomore QB who had a very good year last year but still is unproven. I'm guessing because of their record last year they may have a tougher schedule this year and with all the hype every team is going to be gunning for them. There is a saying that you should never count your eggs before they're hatched.
