Late to the party. Great video. I did see a mistake where you were forcing yourselves to stop pulling after getting three action tokens. Pg 5 of the rules under ACTION TOKEN state in red that the draw phase DOES NOT immediately end if you have 3 or more action tokens in front of you. Super fun and thematic game.
Yes. We caught that on a future play after this video. We had been stopping at 3 no matter what token type we hit 3 with. Action tokens can keep going.
We got this last week. It’s so fun and easy. Only slaughter mode thought. I don’t care for the objectives as an extra, but love this game. Pam is super useful. Using her power to check the house is clutch. We pick characters blindly just to switch it up.
Slaughter mode making us draw again after pulling a leatherface adds a ton of tension. On our first game we were cautious and would not press it if we already had 2 leatherface.
We've really enjoyed Slaughterhouse at 3 players vs 2. At the 2 player count, the non Sawyer player needs to play two characters. We actually did a 4-player stream of Slaughterhouse during our Halloween live stream here: ua-cam.com/users/livenaCB80eyuYU?si=DJFkXkml1YyWd6BT
Just got this version of the game and i am enjoying it ive played on 2 player game and two solo games!! I find pam and kirk are OP!! 😅 I do feel like the trick or treat version is best played solo IMO.
@@OneBoardFamily I do have a question about Sally's ability say she goes first I can use her ability for both my actions before I draw but at the van if I use her ability to Kirk or anyone and they take the push of 2 spaces and Kirk lands on brambles does he have to take the blood?
In our plays there was a couple thing I missed. We weren’t putting LF in the kill room for a hook, we weren’t leaving the items where we got our 4th hit. I’m glad I noticed here. One question is if someone actually gets off the hook “it only happened for us maybe once” and LF is still in the room I don’t know how to handle that scenario?? I noticed in your game LF should chase the next closest person after a hit. Also players can pull more than 3 action tokens in a turn. We start the truck next to the 1st spot so that’s not blocked at the start.
Yeah, not sure what the answer is for Leatherface being in the room if you get off the hook. We honestly haven't tried to escape the hook before. I personally let that character die and run back in with a new player. I thought that 3 action tokens ended pulling from the bag. My bad on that one. -Ryan
If you are on the meat hook, on your next turn, you draw 4 tokens one at a time. If you draw a single Leatherface token, your character dies. If you draw 4 tokens of other types, you live and are placed in the killing room. LF attacks when he MOVES into your space. So if you survived the meat hook and LF was in the room already, I am assuming that he doesn't attack. The rules say "If Leatherface enters the space of any character, Leatherface attacks and deals damage."
Just a quick video tip to keep it interesting, keep the standees facing the camera so we can see them.

You can jump off the hook. It takes luck. Pull 1 leatherface and your done

Great! but I have a question: how do I escape from the hook? and if LF is in the room what happens?
