You couldn't ask for a better company. Nice to see your dog on your side. Looks that it is having a good time

I have a project one Fuel ex 9.8 with the carbon PRO wheels. Great bike. I came from a 2015 fuel and this is much improved in all areas. Trek gets the 29ers just right! Such a balanced bike

Haha he will be in most if not all of my videos! He lives for going to the mountain with me, and has been my ridding buddy since day one. It works great for us, I get to ride my bike and he gets to run around an entire mountain being a dog and protecting me from evil chip squirrels! If you want more of him you can follow our instagram @descent_mtb or his own @zilladogzilla

Nice video! I completely agree in all respects. I’ve ridden a 27.5 for a while and after renting a fuel ex 8 last month (29er) I decided I wanted to make the switch to 29er and the fuel was the platform. Picked up a lightly used 9.8 and LOVE it! I’m editing my review on it now. Soooo solid and stable. I agree the dropper seems to be closer to 140mm vs 150 however the line elite 30s are alloy hoops unless you got something new. The line comps are carbon. I’ll admit that the rims feel plastic but I’m pretty sure they’re not. BTW, watching you dog chase you made my night! Like and subbed! Keep ‘me coming!

Thanks man! So I was curious about the wheels and I went back to the shop and it turns out this one was spec'ed with the Line Pro 30 wheel set. I don't think I specified that very well in the video. Anyways, I'm stoked for you that you got this bike, I'll be on the lookout for your review/bike check!

Cascade Descents MTB I get confused myself. Line pro. Line elite. Carbon pro or elite or comp or whatever. Either way they’re great wheels! I hope to get my “unboxing” video out next😊
Just checked. You’re right line pros are carbon. Mine are the elites(alloy) cheers!

Love the review and love my 9.8. I saw the mino link was in the low position, so the HTA was about 67 degrees.

Nice job. I have an ex8. Was thinking of getting a carbon frame an moving everything over.

Thank you! This was my first carbon bike I've ridden, and while I like the durability that aluminium offers, having such a light bike was amazing for the climb.

I have a question, I want to buy a trek but I have a problem with the size, as you think 181cm tall is L or LM

That's awesome! I'm the same way, I enjoy tweaking everything to get it just right. Because when you do there is nothing like it!
