Updates to video: 1) The 2021 Fuel EX 9.7 comes in two colors, factory orange and matte carbon smoke. These are the same colors seen on the other Fuel EX models. 2) The 2021 Fuel EX 9.7 actually uses the same crankset as the 2020 model.
I just purchased a 2021 trek Fuel EX 9.7 from an authorized retailer yesterday. It has the 36" forks and different size tires, however it has the 2020 Truvativ crankset. Should I be concerned and bring it to their attention?
Thanks for bringing that up! I forgot to add that update in my comment, but the 2021 bike does actually use the same crankset as the 2020 model. I think it was just a mistake on their website before.
Usually by moving the caliper so the disc rotor is no longer rubbing the pad, but sometimes the rotor is bent and you need to bend it with a rotor truing tool.

Is the geo the same though...? Between 2020 and 2021 fuel ex’s
Yep it is!
Is it normal at some point that the front disc is making some noise ?
It’s definitely normal, but can be adjusted so it’s not making noise anymore usually.
@@TalalipopMTB How do you adjust it ?

@@TalalipopMTB Thanks any video ?

Like like how he he has a $800 hardtail and reviews $10000 bikes
Actually $600 :-) HAHA

No talk about geometry changes? Apparently theres significant differences...
There aren’t any changes to geometry on Trek’s website; where did you hear that?
If I’m not mistaken the 2021 bike got 10mm extra rear travel and 1degree slacker head tube and 1degree steeper seat tube.
Peter Rogers I rechecked the travel and angle specifications and they all appear to be the same from 2020 to 2021.
Yes, it seems these changes may have been introduced when the 2020 model superseded the 2019. My bad.
All good!
Damn I thought this was the top fuel bid
Yeahhhhh ima buy this

Hi, can you make top versatile hybrid bikes (city, neighborhood), where your butt isn't sitting higher than your head?
I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again:
Don’t be a sucker
Watch Talalipop
:D
Don’t get the Sram version.
Groupset and brakes are garbage.
