This is just... perfection. You seamlessly incorporated Ash Ketchum, the three Paldea rivals, Team Rocket, the canon ScVi anime characters, and even added both books and both professors to boot. I especially like the hint in the closing theme that Miraidon is Koraidon's bully. I enjoyed your Sword and Shield anime, but judging from this initial video, your ScVi anime is set to knock it out of the park.
What about Florian and Juliana? Why aren't they in this video.

Nah fr I have a theory (that has a 0.1% chance of being true) that ash did actually age from Kanto - Sinnoh but once he met dialga he secretly asked it to turn back ash’s age every once in a while

Keep in mind what happened during Journeys. The fact of Covid and that they got rid of 1/3 before the masters 8. Sure they could’ve done a better job but they didn’t have as much creative freedom as Zac.

While I am pretty excited for this series, I am a little sad that you gave Quaxly and Tinkatink to other people because Dot's relationship with her own was really sweet. Not to mention how they help her be more confident in herself was also really nice.

I'm interested to see how Kieran is used in this series too, having him be another Ash rival would be cool for sure but maybe he could be more of a rival to Liko since she's the one with Terapagos? Or what if he catches Miraidon as his legendary?
Man!!! I’m so psyched to see Kieran and Carmine!!! Kieran’s character arc would go well with Ash’s story
I am HERE for this! Imagine Kieran looking up to Ash due to his strength and the two becoming friends, but then Ash meets Ogrepon and is roped into keeping it from Kieran. I do believe that Ash would apologize for lying and actively try to make it right, only for his budding relationship with Ogrepon to strain things more. It then comes to a head when Ogrepon chooses to be with Ash and him having to beat Kieran again because he wants Ogrepon to come with him too. This begins Kieran’s villain arc as he trains hard and gives into his anger and jealousy. He could also fall under the influence of Petchurant! (I really wish the game did that)
Better yet, Kieran also encounters ogrepon with ash and after the series of events, becomes its trainer instead
This anime series can have the best of every world. Scarlet/Violet game main story, Horizons anime, Teal Mask, and Indigo Disk with Blueberry Academy.
I feel like that's gonna be a huge plate. At least 200 episodes worth.
Peak part 2 has arrived. And while HZ actually does an effort to care about Gen 9, it's nice to see an alternative.
And including Explorers to whole Area Zero stuff is pretty good idea, considering that Terapagos and 6 Heroes are the main plot in HZ with Rayquaza and Zygarde in addition.
Unfortunately, Z-A most likely will not be included
Ash knows it in the anime, but I think what it means to be a Pokemon master means becoming friends with them, namely to make connections to better understand Pokemon
I love how you’re handling Ash’s character arc in this series so far. You’re taking the main message Aim to Be a Pokemon Master and implementing into the Scarlet & Violet storyline so that it becomes Ash’s treasure. Plus, he’s acting like a pseudo teacher for the other characters and is slowly building an unconventional finite team like he did in Journeys.
Not sure if this meant to be treated like Ash’s finale, but if it is it’s off to a great start

Huh. I actually like some of these plot points. Having Liko interested in studying Terrastalizing because of her pendant, Roy treasure hunting and bonding with Arven over the legends of Paldea, Team Rocket being students (which I thought they'd be faculty or employees). A lot of these really work and blend together.
I also like how big a friend group this is, which is surprising since I wasn't a fan of that concept in Sun and Moon. But here, if I'm understanding the episode layout right, nearly every episode he's with a different group of friends doing different adventures, so it doesn't feel overcrowded.
In the game, there are students of all ages attending, which gives me the feeling that the Academy is a school for all ages, not just kids and teens.
That way, everyone gets a chance to shine

Penny having a shiny Eevee is honestly very fitting, considering the fact that shinies are rare Pokémon that don’t fit in as well as their regular brethren, which is how she feels like whenever it comes down to her relationship with others. Can’t wait to see if our little shiny friend evolves or not!

I love the introduction to every character to ash, I can’t wait to see more of this large cast interact with each other and even see them develop more. Also loved the bits of foreshadowing with Amethio being in the back and ash being saved by the finizin!
I’m so happy that this is happening. I also like the idea of Ash not getting one of the starters if that is indeed the direction you’re gonna go in. I can’t wait to see what his Paldean team looks like when it’s filled out.

Nice first episode and I love how each of Ash's new friends are introduced with their own dreams and goals. I also like how the Explorers are going to be a constant pain to Ash and the others as they try to steal Koraidon while also learning more about the Terrastal Phenomenon. Looking forward to seeing our heroes adventures throughout the Paldea region as each discovers their own treasure.
What a great start to your SV series! Good to see Ash finally aging here and what structure will you apply to this series while mixing the plot from HZ. He immediately befriended a Koraidon and met tons of friends on Paldea. I'm merely looking forward what comes next!

12 year old Ash in Paldea: Yes. Next episodes should have the Pokemon P-1 Grand Prix from Kanto return featuring the champion, Ash's Primeape, who just happens to be ready to evolve and once it sees Ash, it decides to return to Ash to show off its newfound power.
Just finished watching, and my god is this a fantastic start to a series if I've ever seen one! I cannot wait to see what is to come!

Yes I know it's not that popular but it hits hard and gets a speed boost with aqua step. Plus it's a better water type for practical use than most of the other Paldea water types. He doesn't need another Tauros, Wugtrio can hardly move as it is, Veluza and Dondozo are fully aquatic, tatsugiri might work but it's not that mobile on land, and while Palafin does seem to fit Ash, and IS more mobile on land and can actually fly in its hero form, how's it supposed to get around on land without it? It's practically Immobile otherwise
Ceruledge fits better

It uses dirty tactics and fights without mercy or honour while Ash believes in fair play, which is Armarouge's whole thing in addition to loyalty
@@eljordinio7647 nah I kinda see it as the type of pokemon that would be sort of a lone swordman's and not like ash as a charcadet but then when it loses lots of battles and realizes it needs ash it will learn to work with him and eventually gain the armor and become badass

Chekhov’s Gun says that Episode 5 isn’t going to be the last time Ash encounters that particular pod of Finizen. In fact, I’m pretty sure he’s going to catch one (unknowingly to him a Palafin) later down the line.

This feels very experimental but in a good way. You’ve made a great start combining the current anime with Ash’s story, but I do hope you’ll find a way to integrate everything you’re introducing.
It’s a lot of things you’re setting up all at once, which can cause this pitch to have very bad pacing if you don’t know how much time each arc gets and how to space out episodes.

I love the take on the Horizons trio and how you incorporated the ScarVio “rivals”. Don’t think I didn’t see Amethio in the back ground. An Oshawott, huh? It makes sense since his Ceruledge dual wielded.

This is so good! Love the large cast of main characters, seeing all of them go to area zero like the games ending would be awesome.
If Ash was in Paldea, I'd want Ash's Team to be: Pikachu, Skeledirge, Quaquaval, Armarouge, Salamance, Tyranitar, Gardevoir, Avalugg, Baxcalibur, Annihilape, Paldean Tauros x30 - 10 of each type, and Koraidon. And for his big main rivals, Nemona & Geeta. He'll learn to master Terastallization. And he'll get to battle paradox pokemon as well.

If we're about what Zac is gonna give Ash for the SV rewrite, I'm thinking he'll stick with a superhero theme for the team.
Pikachu - Obivously. Starts with electric tera type but eventually will get the Stellar tera type with Terapagos
Armarouge - Known for loyalty and based off Mega man
Lokix - Based off Kamen Rider
Palafin - Based off Super Man
Koraidon - It's battle form could be a type of Hero transformation.
Ogerpon - The anti-hero

That was awesome. It sets up so much so I'm exciting to see how Zac plans to handle this rewrite.
The one thing I like about these series most is how it does the character writing that Pokémon missed the mark on. The best example I can think of is Hop: we care a lot more about his struggles being the “weaker brother” than him giving our player character a nice greeting and punching bag, because that’s decent writing. But then again, you blend it well with how Ash would lead him to that point and you added other creative aspects to that story like Hop training with Mustard.
Basically, you’re amazing at this and I hope this writing is just as amazing as the theme song (like good lord!)

In the games, we only ever hear about one Professor being Arwen's parent depending on the version, but you always know that his other parent is the counterpart professor even if they aren't present
