- I was asked by Vont to take a look at this neat solar powered Flagpole light. It installs with simple hand tools and it provides light all night to your flag. Pretty Neat Idea, and it works way better than the ground mounted spot light I have been using.

I also have one of the lights that clamp on the pole and shine up . But this winter it died . I’ve had a flag at my house since I returned from Vietnam and will always fly old glory with pride . The new light would continue to light up my flag, and look great . Thank You !
I would love to have that flag light. My neighbor has a light on their flag and it looks so beautiful at night and makes this old veterans heart so proud.

What a cool light! It's great to see the flag during the day but fantastic to see it all hours of the day and night.
We don't have a flag pole at the moment it was destroyed last February from a house fire we had and lost everything. But we will definately have a new one this spring and that solar light would make a great addition so thanks for the chance to have one.

Very cool. All my flag poles are "home made" (i.e. mostly pvc) so I do not have a need for this style of light, but it is cool all the same.

Great idea Eric!! I have not long taken delivery of a 10M fibre-glass pole to mount my T2LT when static-mobile, which I've also agreed to use as a flag pole when we're out camping in our trailer tent. This light would be an excellent addition, and the fact that it's solar too, means that it ticks every box!!

I've known if your flag isn't lit up at night you're supposed to take it down... could definitely use this on the pole in the front yard. Would really make the yard look great this summer!

We use flags for the Finnish flag, and all so area we live in, to let people know we are home, some very remote homes in 🇫🇮

Nice little review Eric. I’ve recently pulled out an old 23 channel Robin CB to put in my truck. Since watching all of your videos no purchased President McKinley for my pick up and I’m gonna turn the Robyn into a base station. As far as the flagpole, i’ve always wanted one since returning from overseas but the lighting issue has always held me back.
These solar lights are a great idea. I've seen them all over the place and have tried about three different ones myself. I have two issues with them though. First they're way too expensive. These things should be no more than $15-20 max. I mean comon. A bunch of leds surrounded by plastic made in China. Second none of them shine outward enough to cover the flag when it's waving in the wind. They're all "down" lights. I love my flag and I want everyone to see it day and night. I wish they'd at least come out with one that has a wider angle. Having said that. Your flag looks great and thanks for the video.
Give it 6 months and the batteries will go bad as well. Solar lights are like wifi internet (Not reliable)

Thank you so much my friend. I have been truly blessed these past few months. The channel growth, the opportunities to review and giveaway items to fans of the channel, and the small, but growing revenue stream they my channel has suddenly found has been such crazy thing. I've been giving back to the community here in ways I can't discuss on the channel, but I assure I have not let the moment be wasted.

I have a lot of self doubt at times, wondering If I'm doing the right thing with these reviews now being mixed in with my regular content. I have tried to really up my game by usually posting 4 videos a week. That is one heck of a lot of work for a single person operation like mine. I would love to light up Old Glory! According to flag etiquette if you leave your flag up at night you should have a light on it.

VONT says they have a lifetime warranty ,don't believe them, they will not even respond to multiple email messages asking for help ! Have had failures many times with them.

if you keep it lit you can fly at night, if not you should take it down

Not at all. I've had this one up for years now and it's still working great. Holds it charge all night too. Pretty cool thing for sure!

It illuminates a 1/5 the flag. Pointless
If the flag is illuminated then it does not need to be taken down daily.
