I did this on my 2018 Accord Touring, and Good Lord ! ..... What a world of difference ! Made my horrible-sounding stock system into a stock system that will give an after-market system a run for its money. I had to turn both my Bass and Subwoofer setting down below the halfway mark because my rear deck was about to pop out of its place !! It really sounded like I had King Kong In My Trunk. Wow !!!
The PS setting only affects the Bose systems. Its a DSP bypass for the factory amp. Essentially running the speakers as full range without the bass rolloff.
i can’t decide which i like more, i feel and hear the bass more when i do this but like it lowkey sounds so much cleaner the way that it is preset because it’s not vibrating so hard lol idk

Why did Honda do this? I have had two Accords in the past and they have good sounding systems for a stock system. My Gen9 sounds decent for a Honda Factory sound system. I know there are better sound systems out there for lux cars. But why did Honda "de-tune" the sound systems?
I’ll try this out on my whip. What about the auto volume sound? Should we keep using that or turn off completely? What’s good or decent settings that you use on audio? If I can think on top of my head, I have treble 4, mid 2, bass 3. Definitely not maxing bass since it drowns out sound and potentially blow out speakers 🔊 (stock).

I just bought a 2019 Sport 2.0T I’m going to try this after work. I noticed how much the sound system in my car and my wife’s 2018 Civic EX-T really lacked in sound. My 2015 Civic LX had deeper bass from the factory speakers without my subs installed than both of them. Hopefully this will help with sound quality and bass. I’m really trying to avoid throwing my subs in the accord because I want to keep my trunk space

Skar audio for the budget. I got the RP1500.1 for the amp, and the VXF12 for the subwoofer. And I got to say the subwoofer is about 50LB and that really improved the sound quality. Not only that but the VXF line is meant for SQ/SPL. So not only it will be loud but super clean, very heavy bass. I just love how it sounds with music.

I did this to my girls 2018 accord sport 2.0t and it works! Her speakers used to be trash compared to my 2020 si, now I can say they are on par with it. One question tho, what did that actually do to the speakers?

I did this and adjusted my sound to treble 3/4 midrange 1/4 and bass all the way up. Big difference there! Thanks for the tip!

I tried it and the same results. It has a slight difference but still on the lower grade. I have 21 Accord btw and I'm considering speaker upgrades.
The ball is to be on off so the area has to be grey when you tap it. Then try it.. but it’s couple hundred for an upgrade

I think it does restores it. You hear clear and louder sound and instrumental songs too. Like edm or remix music is much nicer

You're gonna need a USB and basically plug it into your car outlet and you should be able to change the clock/wallpaper in the settings.
