BBC celeb, lived an unholy and unrighteous life, he is not resting in peace of course, he sold his soul to Satan for fame and money, died in misery, now being tormented in hell. Gervais will join him one day.
Kieth Ghegwin was a lovely man who had an incredible memory for names. I worked with him on Swap Shop and 22 years later on a show called Famous and Frightened. When I walked into the studio and he said "hello Alan" .I was literally stunned.
Ricky and Steve created two of the greatest British comedies of all time. Let us all be grateful that we are alive to have witnessed their brilliant art. I listen to their XFM/podcast episodes every single day without fail, and after 9 years of doing so, I have yet to become bored. Great comedy is funny forever.

In the last scene (Ivy Restaurant), it's fascinating to watch the actual extras just quicky and quietly resetting as soon as they heard the corpse. They were so good, htiing their marks the same time each take - nurse then doctor then, when they got the chance, the wheelchair.
I only found out recently that Cheggars has a twin brother. Keith was a part of my youth and I’ll never forget him. He seemed like a top bloke and managed to bag Maggie Philbin, legend. RIP.
11:18 "Cheggers plays cock" - and then Ricky used that in "Life's Too Short". I like how he can crystalise and immortalise moments. Even some throwaway comment Karl made on XFM used later in stand up. People say he recycles old material, but there's a good reason to do it.
13:37 That guy just coming out from the left corridor I initially thought was Graham Lineman cameoing but as far as I know he had no involvement at all with Extras.
Rest In Peace, Keith Chegwin. He was a really decent man.
I thought that was Les Dennis

@simontreanor5922😂 was searching for this comment and didn't dissapoint cheggars with his member out
my mom coached one of his kids and he used to come over the house all the time. real nice dude.
Keith Chegwin doing the "pop knob in fanny" gag is one of the funniest moments ever. RIP legend.
That finger sliding sound. RIP
"not up the arse" 😂

Almost certainly NOT!! " 😅😅 is an underappreciated gem

This is probably the funniest thing I have ever read on youtube. Just pure comedy gold
I don't know how anyone could ever get through that scene with Keith Chegwin. So funny
It is brill.
Absolutely ridiculous lines they deliver, magnificent

Warwick Davis pointing and laughing at 08:01 is gold! He knew he’d got him!! 😂
You're a dwarf too?
"This is serious" 😂
I was corpsing all through the Ricky/Cheggers 'knob/fanny' outtakes ... best belly laugh ever.

Ricky's laugh is like the mating call of the Oozlum Bird.
And fake AF
😂 Oozlum bird, what a great throwback, I grew up on carry on films.
@@zapkvr - No it's not. Nobody who faked a laugh would create one as ridiculous-sounding as Ricky's! 😂

Almost like it's literally their job
It's not hard 😂
Fantastic show - Ian McKellen and Keith were amazing.
How Cheggers managed to get ANY of his lines out without pissing himself is beyond me 😂
Cheggers is amazing
It wasn't until this clip that i ever heard of the term "corpsing"
2006 was a long time ago now.
I thought it was I do in graveyards in the dead of night.
Ricky has THE best laugh of all time
It reminds me of the sound Mario makes when he dies in Super Mario 64
I'm in bits when Stephen said " I got caught up in the moment and I went bezerk" bahahah
Extras outtakes is probably the funniest shit on youtube, imo.
Dear Gawd, in that curly wig Ricky Gervais looks for all the world like Melissa McCarthy.
The irony of Ricky doing that Helena Boneham Carter joke to Johnny Depp when Ricky gives himself the lead role in everything he writes

11:00 - This was the funniest one of them all, making Keith spit his water everywhere! 😂
Pure joy. Imagine going to work like that.
This like medicine for the soul 😂
Keith Chegwin corpsing is like an instant anti depressant
"corpsing is very unprofessional", proceeds to do whatever he can to make sure everyone is laughing and doesn't resist laughing himself one bit.
Ricky’s laugh makes me so happy
blow as i might, my floote makes no sound!
Men have knobs; women have fannies. Pop knob in fanny: not up the arse 😂
Ricky has the best laugh ever.
...never gets old
I want to see a laugh-off between him and Rich Evans.
Ricky is the most infectious man I've ever seen on telly along side Alan partridge 😆😆
The wonderful Cheggars.
I love this.

ricky, karl and steve would be great acting together. love to see them making an english film
jesus Ricky's laugh is so suddenly loud.
Outtakes for all of RG's shows are 😂😂😂
How good does mckellan say bollocks
I really want Ricky and Steve to work together again soon.
Morning, campers!
I would be hard to stay straight with Ricky there.
I laughed so much it made my face hurt...

big fan of Ricky from the 11oclock show, However have not seen extras at all or the office
and its 2023
Do yourself a favor and watch both series. Seriously, some of the most brilliant comedies of the 21st century. Cringe comedy at it's best.
I think people who work on stage in live theatre would definitely consider this to be indulgent.

It effects screen and stage actors equally.

Corpsed it with a friend at a funeral😬
Not so unusual actually. It’s the pressure and intensity of the sombreness. It’s actually too much to keep up with, that level of misery.
Cheggers bit was well funny
What show is this from?
Extras
Why will you not do a Benny Hill biopic Ricky!? It must be done!
The show is called 'Extras', because of the ludicrous amount of money the Extras made in this show.
I was corpsing just watching this
Ricky is like an infection on set... the good kind tho
😐💘💘💘😐
It's awful as a camera operator as well, especially on a show like Eastenders.
What is wrong with looking straight at the camera? They do it on the better version of The Office all the time.
The office was shot as a documentary style show. So, the characters were supposed to be aware of the cameras. Extras wasn't shot that way
