I slowly began to realize that every RPG I've played so far, out of Undertale, Deltarune, Mother 2 and 3, and Omori have plenty of parallels among each other. Basically just trauma in all shapes and sizes.
I can tell you how beautiful this sounds in the Mother 3 soundfont. As a guy who played Mother 3 after beating the story of Deltarune's 2nd chapter, as I went through my first playthrough of Mother 3 and saw the scene where one of the Tazmily villagers tell Flint, Lucas, and Clause that Hinawa died, there was one character I could think of who did not have another parental figure in their homes to show their support for their child: Noelle. The things that Lucas and Noelle have in common in terms of character story are similar and that they are more emotional rather than emotionless. That made her my favorite character (Besides Ralsei, of course).
Claus was a lost boy to Lucas. In the end, they finally reunited, only for Claus to kill himself out of guilt for his actions as Masked Man. I just hope the same doesn't happen with Dess (that is if she's just missing). That would be an LV20 emotion punch to the gut.

I stopped doing opiates, mostly because it wasn't that easy to find them where I lived, and I was too nervous to ask anyone for them. ..... The Mother 3 soundfont activates the same receptors in my nervous system. I heard the first measure of this, and felt a rush of emotion-- a flood across all my nerves-- tears formed in my eyes. The feeling and emotion summoned by hearing these sounds were of the same type that I'd experienced from snorting pills. Come to think of it, the experience of this song was even stronger, because while the drugs were mostly physical, the wash of sensations from this music was enough to make me cry. I love the sound of Mother 3. I love it more than drugs. Sincerely: a former oxy addict.

Lost Girl always manages to comfort me in some way. There are some times when I feel like I'm so tired and done with situations, I just put my headphones on and let the song plays, thinking it'd at least help me in some way. It would just clear out my mind and erase the bad thoughts partially, somehow. I could say that it was one of the reasons why I'm so in love with Deltarune. This cover is brilliant, it feels like I'm hearing the song for the first time ever once again. ^^
Lost Girl is one of Toby's best new tracks. (I know they're all great, but still.) I love what you've done with it. I first heard this before I even played Undertale or Deltarune, and now, playing through Chapter 2 and loving it (aka: dying to Spamton a lot), this is just glorious to hear.

wow... just WOW! i've heard a good few different mother 3 interpretations of songs and this has to be my favorite! the choice of instrumentation, the harmonies between them all, the use of delay are all in spirit with mother 3's original compositional style!
Dear God I wish Itoi would greenlight Toby to do something with the MOTHER series. Noelle and Lucas would be such good friends, and maybe even see their lost siblings in each other and fill the void.
