Mate your grandma Marian would be proud. It was not only a good video to watch for entertainment as usual but I also noticed how much your skills as a furniture maker have leaped forward leaps and bounds. Great result, I for one would love that table in my dining room or kitchen 😊
Like the table top being inset into the legs and that the dowels and leg joints become a feature on the finished table, gives it a very stylish finish. Another great job Mark
This is a dining table with a lot of heart! Grandma is proud and smiling! The inspector in you is tough! You know watching and listening to you point out your little mistakes is part of what makes the video, entertaining yes, but also shows how to fix these issues when they happen, and they do happen! That is a true family table!
And now we all understand why you check square so much! Great job fixing up this old project 😊

Hello Mark, You are the king who brings pallets back to life. You've created an even more wonderful dining table than the dining table 2 years ago. Strong feet and a solid worktop. Your wood joining techniques are superb. Congratulations on the project and the smart way of working that hides great experiences. As always, you did a great job. I watched with pleasure. A warm hug. See you. Big greetings. Mehmet.

@@dainermade yes the changes were great. You are a good wood / pallet king. you are a good master. 'll see. cheers my friend.
Loved this mate. I am an absolute sucker for timber that has sentimental value and a story to tell. Imagine the happiness that will come in 50 years time when one of your kids rebuilds this table and gives it a third life. Thats what dreams are made of!!
@@dainermade oh mate that is so awesome. Those moments make any project a million times better, and the best thing is that you'll have those moments every day.
Nothing like a nice pair of legs, Mark 😜😅. The final reveal looks really great. It's a great design with the tabletop recessed slightly in between the legs. looks classy 👍. And nice recovery (with that thin shim) from the first cut that was slightly off. That's a great tip.
That turned out awesome mate nicely done really like the router biscuit joint 👌 and i know your grandmother would loved it and is proud of you brother 🙏
I have seen some naive woodworkers check square on a frame by measuring diagonal corner to diagonal corner. To be able to revisit and refresh and improve a previous project takes guts. Despite your relaxed approach it is abundantly clear that you care deeply about the quality of what you produce. Thank you for what you do and for sharing your skills and experience with us. Your journey is our journey.
So should we put a reminder in for v3 in 2023? ;) My first table was much the same - apron glued and screwed into the table top, it never fell over but wasn't square either. Luckily that was before TWK-times :D
😂😂...the old sneak up on the cut trick 😂....been there done that mate 😂....the shim worked a treat....nothing to se here folks 👍Brilliant job mate 👍😁🇦🇺
Hola! 🖐That table looks amazing but what makes it irreplaceable is that fact that you integrated that wood that your Dearly Departed grandmother provided. I'm a sucker for sentimental valuables like that. Great job! Take care and have a good one, Adios!👊
It's great to see just how far you've come in such a short time mate. Your nan would be proud. Imagine where you'll be in another few years?! Beautiful work.
I've been binging your content as I'd like to start woodworking (once I've moved into my new home!). I understand the mantra of "Check Square" but I'm anxious about what to do if something isn't square. I'd love a Dainsy video that distils your knowledge and experience of how to correct the issues you find as you go (I'm not talking about your 70s TV unit, either :D) Love the content.
Another great job 👍. Still working on my first project. It’s a small end table for my mom. I’m ready to glue my slats in to 9” wide slabs. Hopefully that will get done this weekend. Currently at work. Starting small
Thanks for the video, I think it is great to see your stuff ups as it reminds me that I am not the only one who has was “damn it” moments. For I do have them 😊😊
Do you have issues with termites there? Because here on Bonaire (Dutch Carribean) we treat the palletwood with coppercoat. Downside is the wood turns green.....
Oi mate ... off subject question that is sort of important to me and you might be able to shed some wisdom onto it. Was curious about your experience so far with Bosch miter saw? I am reading mixed reviews and some ninja-finish carpenters complain of noticeable slop in the front. Meaning when you extend the radial arm all the way. My contender is DWS780. Thanks in advance.
@@dainermade I still think that your ripping “pallets” apart is a deep-fake. 😂 You got to be more convincing for www. all-knowing wisdom spreading auditorium. (LOL 🤡, sarcastic bastard here). All the best Mark! With a C perhaps.
I just find myself binge watching your videos now 😂😂😀this is another great build with lots of tips.

We all live and learn! Your table turned out beautiful! You saved a piece of loving memory. Thank you for sharing!
looks bloody good to me, I love the black and white tape, A family piece always means more.

Looking great mate. The more you learn about woodwork, the more difficult things become...like removing glue marks
Great work Mark! Nice to go back and see how far you have come and fix a couple of those things that bug you all the time. Nice work!

Hi Mark That is an amazing table
Hey Mark, I'm loving this one! Great choice of joint for the legs, have those joints on some furniture in my house, they stand out really nice. 👍😊🍻

How long do you let your glue dry and stay clamped together before you separate? 1 day, 2 days?I have to do one one glue up?
You make learning fun, keep it up!

That turned out great, no way would I have thought it was pallet wood 🤯
Bloody top notch refurb, mate! 👍🏽

Why wouldn't you glue and screw down a table top to the frame?
