The story was mostly pretty serious today and Shirou had a very ruff day to say the least (even getting a bad end...), but there were still some funny moments too with Saber in a raincoat, the Tiger Dojo and silly tongue twisters! We also learned more about Saber, the Holy Grail War, the church etc.! It's a lot to keep in mind but it's very interesting! (I posted it on twitter, but figured I'd post it here too) The Important Mini TL;DR; The holy grail war, a fight amongst 7 masters/servants for a wish of choice from the holy grail, begins (viewing from Shirou's POV). While Shirou fights with servant Lancer, Shirou summons servant Saber in a master/servant contract to fend Lancer off, and learns about the holy grail war from Rin and an overseer of the war-- a priest Kirei Kotomine. The less mini TL;DR; - The Shinji dislike chapter: Shinji suspected of hitting Sakura from bruises. Shinji was mean to club members and Shirou is asked to help deal with it - The foreshadowing of things: There was a murder in the streets, revealed by Issei. - Lancer fights Archer at school. Shirou is caught in crossfire, dies, but is revived by Rin. - Revived Shirou returns home, but Lancer tracks him down to finish the job. - Saber gets summoned as Shirou is defending himself desperately. - Saber fights Lancer. - Lancer uses his noble phantasm - Gae Bolg. Gae Bolg reverses cause and effect. Saber gets injured from this but survives and heals. - Lancer is then ordered to retreat from his master and does so. - Saber senses Archer and Rin in the location too and proceeds to fight. - Saber immediately wins in battle against Archer (who withdraws) and almost kills Rin. - Shirou talks down Saber - Rin talks with Shirou and she explains the situation. Shirou is caught in a holy grail war battle of 7 masters/servants. Shirou is the master of Saber. Servants are reincarnated legendary hero spirits to accompany masters in the fight. - A person oversees the holy grail war - a mage priest Kirei Kotomine at the church. Rin, Saber, and Shirou walk there. Kotomine describes the holy grail war more to Shirou. Once only one of the 7 masters are left standing, the holy grail manifests. Shirou decides to fight.
