What a beautiful story! Thanks! May Jesus continue to bless you and your family
Loved the Little House Series. Loved this movie, thank you. Anyone could watch this movie, especially children which is nice to watch myself. Wish we had more shows and movies like this.
I live 40 miles from Rocky Ridge, in Willow Springs. When I first moved to Missouri, I lived in Mansfield, enjoyed the Wilder Days celebrations in September & visited the Wilder house, store & museum. Warm memories of a place this movie is all about.
Loved the movie. So sad that times have changed. Those were hard days, but it made strong people.
This was quite beautiful! Thanks for the upload!
Such a touching true story. So much hardship. Loved this movie. Thank you Jesus wept.

@@chericandream I'm Catholic. You don't sound Catholic to me. No offence meant. You sound like a Muslim. Nothing wrong with that. The real Muslims are very gentle people. Loving and caring.
@@gigih.hammer306 He sounds Messianic believer in the Jewish Jesus . Jesus was called in hebrew Yeshua.
@@Barbbfly Yes, I know. Thank you. Have a great day.
@@gigih.hammer306 She's just trying to explain who Jesus was. Muslims don't believe in Jesus the Messiah, the One who saves. They believe He was a prophet.
I never want it to end. Laura will always have a special place in my heart.
Another awesome movie! Thankyou SO much!
A very good movie. Well acted and very well played. How touching and refreshingly done. Especially wholesome without the nudity and the violence. just people living their lives and learning to get by as they transitioned from East to West. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐, this movie deserves a five-star rating.
I am so thrilled to find this. I watched the first part a few years' ago.
Loved this. Thank you for putting this on UA-cam
I watched the first half last night from another uploader, but they wrote that they couldn't find the second half. I'm so glad I found it here. Thank you so much for this upload!💜♥️💜
Ooooh, I would like to watch that as well! Would you please be so kind as to tell the title and where to find it?
@@gabrielepage8598 It's on the channel Bowie 70 and it's titled "Beyond the Prairie". You could go to that channel or you could just type the title in the search bar. I hope you find it.
Simple and beautiful Story
Thank you so much for uploading the video I love Little House on the Prairie
Thank you so much for finding this movie I love it so much
How time flies
Laura Ingalls Wilder did not live so very long ago as it may at first appear.
I was absolutely shocked to realize how close in time we really are.
Her daughter became a famous journalist
Laura's life was indeed beautiful and what a Blessing she has shared it with us.
This was really good. The people of today have no clue what it was like for the ones who came before us. Many of the areas that people farmed were a forest when they settled there. They had to hand cut those trees in order to have an area to build a house, a barn, a garden, a field, and so on.
Some people of today have a clue. To not have one would mean a person is exceptionally naive or obtuse.
Awwww just wonderful, love prairie movies.
Wonderful story, back to the beginnings of settlers and adventures!
What a Gem of a story so true to life heartfull messages through each period of their lives such good acting many thanks for bringing it to us ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
One of my favorite movies! 🥰❣
Such Love!
I've heard that some believe in, that because You're the Son of Elohim,
You suffered less,
during Your distress.
But then, they completely forget,
that You're the Son of man, yet;
Which learned obedience through all Your sufferings,
but always without any sins!
Thank You, Lord, that during Your life down here, You stood against all kind of temptation,
to prepare a way for my salvation!
I'm so grateful for those precious Words in the garden of Gethsemane,
in the middle of Your agony ;
"Abba Father....not as I will, but as You will!"
Nobody took Your life, Lord,
but You gave it freely,
went through all the pain, scorn and slaughter,
because You love us dearly!
How can I ever comprehend such Love, which eternal life did bestow?!
All I can do, is believe and receive,
forever praise Your Name ; which
salvation for me became!
Amen
We read all the LIW books to our kids. They are not "children's" books but accurate records of life on the frontier.
An awesome movie thanks
Good movie!
I know many will think this petty but the anachronistic parts of this movie really get me. For starters no adult married woman would wear their hair lose, just hanging down and it would be very unlikely for a married woman to wear a cowboy hat. One mark of adulthood was putting one's hair up, and girls and women wore bonnets to protect their skin from sun.
I realize that this and other anachronistic details may seem really trivial now days, especially because we have seen photos of Calamity Jane and other woman dressing "like men" and now days people can wear anything they want. There was a very large social distinction between omeone like Calamity Jane and Laura or any her family or friends. Even though the Ingalls/Wilders were almost always poor and Laura refused to promise to obey Almanzo in her wedding vows, they were religious and very immersion in the culture they lived in. There were rules and expectations to how to dress and everyone Laura ever knew lived by these.
Hundreds of women drowned regularly when retrieving water from a river, as it was must more likey to get wet, fall in and get a large wad of cloth wrapped around themselves wearing a long dress instead of pants or a shorter length dress. Laura might have grabbed Amanzo's hat to use in a snow storm, but she would not have one of her own and would not wear it as part of her usual day, even travelling. The majority of dresses Laura wore here were NOTHING like the styles that would have been worn during the time period (about 1890 according to Rose's age). The movie makers not taking the time and effort to include proper period dress, really takes me out of the movie's immersion and ruins it for me.
This movie, like the TV show takes many liberties in storytelling also; so many things did not ever happen and yet they left out so many things that did happen. If it was a random pioneer story, it would be fine but this is a person very well known and not making any attempts to really tell her story is frustrating, just like the mess that was done to P. T. Barnum in the to 'The Greatest Showman' movie. These well known people had fascinating lives and I really hate when movies are made about them that are totally fantasy, if you want to do that, they just not say that fantasy is about the real life person. There are no direct descendants from Laura's immediate family; she was the only sister to have a child and Rose never had children.
I understand your point of view, however, if it were not for these production companies "taking liberty" with these stories, the stories, other than in book form, would never be told. Sadly, people will take the time to watch a movie, rather than read a book. Short of having been there to witness their lives ourselves, it takes reading about them in either history books an autobiography (diaries), or a book written by those who either knew or are these people telling their story. You must appreciate that the translation from the book(s) to film is very difficult, and often those of us who read the book, novel, or diary are ultimately disappointed in the film version. I for one, even though, they "take liberties" appreciate the effort. If I want to explore the true history I find it, in the meantime, I enjoy the entertainment value of these productions.
What a good movie
Most enjoyable
Lovely movie
Many Blessings !
Endearing story .
1:04:00...l just googled it and Missouri has around 6,400 Caves! 😳
Hello I have regretfully unsubscribed. I watched this movie plus the Cab to Canada movie & enjoyed both.
Looking at the other titles I thought they looked very 'worldly'
Dissappear as it's hard to find good movies.
I think most of us enjoy a good movie.
Best wishes finding more family friendly movies & thank you for the 2 I watched.
It was a good movie!
John-Boy playing Charles Ingalls.
Are there anymore of these? I loved this movie
I’ve never seen this one b fire. Modern humans have no idea what Hardwork really meant. We don’t even have those skill sets anymore.
excellent
The cave episode never happened in the book. The Widers have no direct descendants, if not for the books they would have disappeared into obscurity.I'm from a homesteader, pioneer family from KS that, thankfully, still has descendants. The ending never happened, as Laura never saw her parents again. Pa Ingalls wanted to keep going west to CA, but, Caroline wanted to settle down, so he never got his dream.Laura was 67 when she started writing.
Rose Ingalls wilder was a direct descendant.
@@teddymenhem4416 Rose was the only living grandchild of Charles & Caroline Ingalls, Laura had a baby boy who died. Rose also lost a baby. Caroline also lost a baby son. There are now no living decedents. Sad!
@@estelleadamski308 Unless Pa had brother, sisters, uncles' and aunts' whom had children; as well as, both sets of Grandpas' and Grandmas'. The bloodlines are most likely present to this day... Back in those years, parents had many children to help on the farms, etc...🦋
@@hummingbird_chirps8520 There are no direct decedents, Pa & Ma Ingalls together have none, Laura & Almanzo have none. A cousin, uncle, etc. will inly have 1/2 of the blood Direct does NOT mean a nephew, etc only your blood child counts!
I lov it
Estaran estas películas en español??
RIDICULOUS ... applying spoiled bratty kids to the hard life of the homesteaders is a sacrilege. What fool ever thought this would work.
Nice. Thank you Jesus Wept
Good to see old movies displaying simple life. God wants us to help others and love one another.
Acts 2:38 Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
😭😭😭😭😭
👍❤️
Almanzo never called Laura Bessie, he called her Beth.
Jesus horse is symbolic not a literal one The same way he left the same way he is coming back riding a cloud like a horse a cloud took him up .
They should have at lest aged the mother and father .
Slow movie. I had to bail after 30 minutes in.
JESUS 'S , horse is white for the second coming , my horse is dark brown , what color is yours .🙏🌸💮🌺🦄🐴
Jesus horse is not literal its symbolic the same way Jesus left is how he is coming back riding a white cloud as if riding a horse.
Gdod
Why did Jesus weep ?
on the surface, his friend Lazarus had died before he could get to him. deeper down, we will have to talk........
It is the shortest sentence in the English New Testament, and often used totally out of context.
I mean shortest verse.
Good movie!
