By slamming hunter exalted orb you can't hit non-influence mods, so there is not need to block mana or any other. You will always hit 1 out of 4 mods (as long as it's not already there). Anyway smart strat
To follow up on this, you'd also want to be crafting the % chance for flasks you use not to consume charges. This mod will block the worst of the two flask mods.
@@ddrudge you could still get the "Gain a Flask Charge when you deal a Critical Strike" mod. That one is tagged with "critical", it doesn't have the "flask" mod.
Little tip: you should craft "Flasks applied to you have #% increased Effect" from the bench, instead of mana. You cannot hit non-influence mods with Influenced exalted orbs but by blocking it with that mod from the bench now you have a 33% of probability to hit either "Gain a Flask Charge when you deal a Critical Strike" (which is tagged with "critical" and not "flask"), chaos damage or increased max life by slamming the belt with Hunter's Exalted orb, and those are all Hunter influenced mods.

I recommend using the pseudo "total elemental resistance" for what you're searching for. it will add up fire cold lightning, so if oyu have a 35/35/35 item you would find it if you had 105 total elemental resistance in the search
Do people actually buy hunter stygians for more than the orb (+ belt) price? I feel like just because you see the prices like this, doesn't mean people are buying. Everyone should have enough common sense to just buy the orb and slam a stygian...

Yeah, that's usually the go-to mod for crafting these. Ideally, crafters aim for life, %life, WED, and chaos res, which are all big money mods. Using harvest/fossils, then bench crafts and reforge more likely, you can quite consistently hit high tiers of the prefixes, then block prefixes, reforge chaos, Aisling veil, pray for hybrid res/attributes, craft on a suffix. These can sell for a TON and are not hard to craft
I've been trying to get a vise that's good for a while, with life, % life, regen, plus chaos res, dex and if space a little mana. I just can't find them anywhere with those roles, as a bin crafter
they don't sell unless they have %inc life; it's not a reliable way to craft for money. The belts in his video will probably sit for 3-4 days before he drops the price and they sell for bare above base influence price.
Deleted my last comment because it was a bit toxic. It's a smart strat, and you're right, the risk is super low because slamming an i84 stygian vise with hunter is almost always at least break even. Obviously it doesn't really make GG items unless someone is selling a super good stygian vise for cheap and you're lucky on the slam. But definitely a good way to craft a decent belt for cheap.

Many of these "low risk high reward"-crafting is because: No one is crafting it > Because no one is asking for it. So the supply is low holding the prices up because of less experienced players. And the demand is really low
I get what you're saying, and yeah they all eventually sold, but the whole reason why this is low risk high reward is because the price of the belt will never fall below the price of the Hunter's Exalt. and the value of a Styigan Vise with good stats & 12% increased life makes it well worth a few attempts. The only thing I wish I knew and talked about was how a decent tier of flat Life is basically mandatory, because I ended up having to sell the belt I thought was the best of the bunch for only about 1 ex profit, simply because it had no flat life.

My last leagues abyssal belt had flask charge on crit as a mandatory mod and costed around 8 ex. They can be really good with ele dmg with attacks
