When I was there the guide said the Spanish deliberately built the church on top of what they knew was a pyramid. The Spanish did not try to preserve the amazing Mexican culture, but destroy it. They also destroyed the majority of the codex'.

Great that you could get into one of the tunnels. On the 4 occasions that I visited, the tunnel were closed for visitors. Cholula is not only the pyramid. In the case of Americas i believe that there was a mother culture who would have beign the craddle of civilization in this great and by no means "new" world.
The Caral/Maspero culture of Peru had complex civilizations full of pyramids, theaters, temples, irrigation systems, advanced textiles and even chemical knowledge peruvians were the first so called "stone" age cultures to develop artificial dyed cloths in the know history of mankind! 1500 thousand years before the old kingdom egyptians. Also this peruvian Caral/Maspero civilization is dated from 3800 bc in in world history terms its older than egyptian, indus, chinese and only younger than proto-sumerian , the second oldest know civilization on earth. Even if Gobekli is by no doubt the oldest temple in mankind history from 8000 bc it has evidence sugest was made by non civilized people but communal hunter-gathers without agriculture or hierarchy but a great sense of spirituality .
      www.upi.com/Science_News/2016/09/16/Oldest-indigo-dyed-fabrics-unearthed-in-Peru/3291474036343/
Also about this "mother american culture" its interesting to note that copper/metal worker started in the southest parts of north america with 5000 bc copper and for unknow reasons reach its peak in south america were the oldest finds sugests gold smelting from 2000 bc and it later appearing in central america through 100 ad. Theres no linear knowledge about really where it started and also to this day the most developed metal working in pre-columbian americas comes from the coastal andean regions with the moche from 300 bc to 400 ad not only making gold, silver and platinum objects but also even bronze/copper maces and swords for warfare.
So theres much mystery about the development of american civilizations but one thing for sure is that the only thing they lacked was the burden animal factor, sadly all horses were extincted after the pleistocene great extinction at the end of the last ice age who destroyed the world megafauna not only in americas but elsewhere like eurasia/africa etc, besides it these civilization had metal work, writing, calendars, advanced mathematic, textiles, engineering, architecture, philosophy, agriculture, roads, artificial islands, poetry and all thing who could related with sophisticated level of civilization without any contact with eurasia/africa.

    • @Aztlantean
      @Aztlantean 4 роки тому

The problem is that Even so old as it is The Caral civilization not develop metal work or any form of writing, the writing was developed in mesoamerica as of even more complex structures.
Probably theres a older middle culture between the caral and olmecs and it could be yet to be discovered in the amazon rainforest, a forest that was created by human labour and not by nature forces as scientific evidence sugest but we do not know for sure.

@@user-ip5xn9ks9k Its not ''history'' fucktard, its a monument to colonization, the bricks and stones of this unholy abomination named "church" were of this ancient pyramid, the golden filled walls were made of melted nahua Gods statues and jewlry stolen from natives and gold mined by slave native work.
Its not different than a statue of any other invader like cortez in the mean to reinforce alien and foreign ruling and spiritual supremacy over this invaded land where still 70% of its inhabtants are still natives supressed by colonial catholic powers and also with amnesia about their own history buried by the same evil who destroyed their glorious past.

      "These are archeological sites."
      Fraud exists.
This image is a modal of what I assume someone wants us to believe is under it:
      thumbnails.trvl-media.com/l1UiCG1ltYPxHB_KRcU2csNhjUU=/768x432/images.trvl-media.com/media/content/shared/images/travelguides/destination/182169/Great-Pyramid-Of-Cholula-228548.jpg
I don't really see that proved:
      pbs.twimg.com/media/ClLD-GZUoAAmsM6.jpg
All the structures they dig out are at the base of the hill, where you would assume they would be if cut into the side of a hill.
This image look a bit less pyramid shape.
      www.realmofhistory.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/great-pyramid-of-cholula-world-largest-pyramid_1-770x437.jpg
And what about the trees all over it. They would have 2-3 foot root depth. Why is there trees and grass everywhere, with a bustling city. They have a huge city there and no record of a pyramid?
