Hello good people, to answer your question, yes they are sisters, and I'm so glad that you young people love the music that we grew up on, please keep listening to the music of the 70s. Trust me it will bless your soul.😘💋🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
Awwwwww shucks!!!!! Yall went down The Emotions line!!!!! You CANNOT bypass Show Me How, Best of My Love, or Don't Wanna Lose Your Love. Shelia, Wanda, Pam, and Jeanette!!!
There is something smooth and hypnotic about this song. Sort of ebb and flow..great orchestration...and the girls are just oozing charm and harmony. The Emotions...indeed! Classic and Iconic!! Great reaction guys!
The Emotions are The Hutchinson siblings out of Chicago. Check out “Smile” (with Earth Wind & Fire), “Show Me How”, “Flowers”, “Walking The Line” and “So I Can Love You”.
Love the Emotions! Their harmonies are just beautiful! Others have already mentioned other songs by them you'll love. Also, they performed with Earth Wind and Fire on the song Boogie Wonderland. You should check it out! Great reaction guys!
Love, love, LOVE this song. Such a romantic slow jam. My favorite on that album. These ladies have beautiful voices. Why can't we have music like this today? Thank you for your reactions.👍👍
This is one of my most favorite songs from the beautiful Emotions from Philadelphia! My Home!❤️ I play this on repeat from you tube to my Bose speaker.
Hey! I love the Emotions!!! One of favorite girl groups! Hope you like it!!! This song was actually recorded by a few other people, like Nancy Wilson, who was more of a jazz singer, but she had 1 of those amazing voices.
Dee Pendleton, same here. Had the album and every track was beautiful!Think I was like 14 or 15 ..We were so lucky to have grown up in a time where great music was EVERYWHERE ( not so much today).
These Sweet Voiced Divas keep you coming back for more. Check them out on Show Me How, The Best Part of a Love Afair and So I Can Love you. Also check out another group of sweet voiced Sistas The Jones Girls I'm At Your Mercy. A solo sister with sweet voice is Nikki Howard singing Imagination. Give it a listen. You won't be disappointed.
Shawn and Mel have you all listened to Phylis Hyman? If not, you REALLY need that voice in your life. I suggest you start with "Sacred Kind Of Love" Her and Grover Washington Jr.
Emotions Harmony Best Ever The Mighty Elements Earth Wind And Fire Forever The Absolute Greatest Band. How Can You Ever Go Wrong With This Music From The Lord Above Blessings Us All 🙏💕
We had this masterpiece in constant rotation in our barracks while Deployed Overseas during the 70's, kept our spirits elevated!! Ohhh the memories!! #MilitaryLife🇺🇲Hooahh💪
You must review their classic Grammy award winning hit “Best Of My Love”. They were also background singers for Earth, Wind & Fire who produced this song and many other hits for them.
Great reaction you guys.👏👏👍👍 Mel, the Emotions are indeed sisters....Hutchinson sisters. I think, very under-rated female singing group of the 70's. Among their other hits is a feature with Earth,Wind & Fire called "Boogie Wonderland ".
Watching your reactions makes me realize that my peers and I have lived through some special times. To us these types of songs were the norm, if you can believe it.
This is what we were up against in the seventies. We still had to do well in school with this swirling around in our heads. We were so young and emotional. Listen how the instruments cry after every word she sings. Beautiful ❤
Talk about a classic! Music that’s truly good for the soul! Can y’all please react to; Shirley Brown | It Ain’t No Fun Anita Baker | No more tears Shirley Brown | Woman to woman
The sister's are huge here in Chgo, their home town. The one in the right came to speak to my school choir, in the 70s. They were very active in the community . They sang backgroung on Boogie Wonderland, by Earth Wind n Fire. Love them. Dive deeper into them.

Great choice and reaction! Don't Ask My Neighbors is my favorite song from The Emotions, written by the late Skip Scarborough who was married to singer Alton McClain from Alton McClain & Destiny, another great female group. He wrote some great hits like Can't Hide Love and Love's Holiday by EW&F, Love Ballad by L.T.D., Love Changes by Mother's Finest and many others. Please try I Touched a Dream by the legendary group The Dells, you won't be disappointed.
it was so refreshing watching you react to this! I had to watch it a few times! This is the music I grew up on. Some of today's music burns my ears! 😂😂
Chicago's own Hutchinson sisters. Sheila, Wanda, Pamela, and Jeanette Hutchinson. This song was composed by Skip Scarborough and is taken from the 1977 album "Rejoice" by The Emotions on the Columbia Records label. Pam is now deceased. .

Phil Bailey and one of the sisters had an affair and a child..I believe. This album worn out vinyl..me and all my inner city Boston catholic school girls during the turbulent bussing era..music united all of us. Still proudly Blue eyed soul 💙 😌 😍
You guys should check out, So I Can Love You from their Stax days. And if I’m not mistaken I hear Steve Cropper’s guitar work. Which means Booker T and the MG’s are on it.

Best harmony I’ve ever heard from any group!!! EVER! It sounds like there is 5 of them singing…
Although the Emotions are one of my all-time favorites, The Jones Girls would give them some comp.
They almost sound like an whole choir, the only other group of ladies that I can give that distinction to is BROWNSTONE who came on the scene later.
@@lawrencescott1048 I never heard any group sing like these women. The three sounded like six… and blended perfectly.
