All of their promotional and released music is and will be in English as of right now. Their extra stuff they put on their channel like the Xypher and covers will be a mix of English Japanese and Korean. They cater to a global market but you can see that they are taking full advantage of the Korean music industry and it’s probably one of the smartest things I’ve seen. This reminds me of the Filipino boy group SB19, they are a Filipino boy group that promotes Filipino music, but they used the Korean training system to build their skills and you can hear it in their sound and see it in how they promote. They have become even bigger than just a Filipino audience because those who are familiar with k-pop can see the effort and work they have out into their careers and find them interesting as well. I know XG will be big sooner or later. They are doing very well for only 3 songs so far. Their main producer JAKOPS is Simon from the Korean boy group Dalmatian, later the name changed to DMTN. He is half Japanese half Korean and is the main visionary and producer for XG. He also can speak English and since leaving the idol industry he has stayed in producing. I have seen him with many world known producers and people in the music industry all around the world including the US. I can only imagine the interest others can see in XG as I feel they are a great way to bring the East more to the West that isn’t strictly just everyone’s fave K-pop group. They are like the perfect inbetween that everyone has been looking for.
I totally agree with you. This move on the Korean market was very smart. I think there producer is probably one of the most talented I have heard of in term of pop music. He is literally combining R&B. Hip hop and pop. This group is doing something no one has ever done. I’ll tell you right now the groups rappers are probably the hardest I have heard especially counting within the K-pop industry. Flows are good, music is smooth, dance moves amazing. They were thinking the same things I was when I first saw this. They are perfect right now and it's only the beginning. I thought the same like whoa, these girls are %100 everything right now, in 5 yrs they are gonna be huge, gargantuan huge, and I've never even used that word before lol. But seriously XG, no other group has anything on them right now, yes I said it. They are going to dominate this world. BTS status, not comparing their music, just saying they are going to reach those heights and will be beloved massively, and who knows maybe even surpass it. And in 5 years, hopefully they are still a group by then because what they have, not even groups that have been around for a while have what they have.
