For me the sound is a 9/10. It was something I would bop my head to and get into real quick. The thing though is not the sound,it’s how it all goes so well together. U can tell what the girls are saying, the energy and concept behind it all,it’s definitely being delivered. Very well executed and they definitely have charisma. The girls did THAT. The only thing that makes me not give it a 10/10 is the fact there wasn’t a lot of rap which I would have LOVED , but it’s still good and I loved cocona’s delivery when she was rapping.

He has been preparing for their debut since 2017 (5 years) and they will be active for 10 years and they debuted March 18th with “Tippy Toes”! Many people think XG is K pop XG looks like K pop and performs on korean tv but their Japanese supervisor said XG is not K pop, not related to K pop at all So i think it's weird that you guys reacted XG as K pop group.
It's strange to say that XG is K-pop. They are all Japanese belong to japanese company, avex. Isn't it strange that an Englishman is mistaken for a Frenchman? Though Koreans and Japanese may look the same to foreigners. They worked hard as trainees at avex in Japan for 5 years, but why are they suddenly mistaken for YG trainees? Because the filming location happened to be YG's practice studio ? But If you dance and sing well, it won't all become K-pop group. There will be idol groups of all Americans in the near future, but will they also be called K-pop???

Their music is mostly hip hop, which is American. And they are produced by Avex, which has been the center of jpop industry for a while but only focused on domestic market because Japanese market is big enough that they don’t really need to export like kpop. However, for XG they got many foreign staff mostly American to help these girls.

This is the lyrics we wanted, take note GOT… Step Back really wasn’t it. Plus their style of singing really reminds me of Kumi Koda, a J-pop artists that’s was popular in early 2000s, so that’s another reason to stan.
