I wouldn’t get a trail camera for live streaming. At least, not a Spypoint. There are a few manufacturers that do it, but I don’t have experience with it.
Thank you! I appreciate you watching. You can not run any camera with just a solar panel. There has to be some sort of battery that the solar panel keeps charged
Wow, excellent video! Quick question does this camera takes instant photos or videos. I've noticed in the setting the Instant button is there. I know Flex Plus does and I was wondering if this feature was part of the Flex S Solar camera. Thanks in advance.
If it already has a battery in the soler panel, what is the perpose of the secondary battery? Dose the solar panel charge both batteries? Thanks mate ,👍😊
Great video. Could you recommend the best trail camera in your opinion please. I am purchasing my first camera at the moment and would value your view. Thanks Martin
Moultrie Edge2 and Edge2 Pro are great cameras. I have 2 brand new cameras that I set up but decided not to use. I will sell them to you at a good discount if you like. Also, the Tactacam Reveal X 3.0 is a fantastic camera. amzn.to/4dCAnhS
it definitely helps keep the batteries charged longer..... but if you are worried about someone stealing it, i would suggest the link micro. the flex is a pretty big camera, even without the solar panel. or maybe an external box you can put on the ground at the base of the tree. i love these HME boxes. amzn.to/4dog6xq
Question - I bought a Flex G-36 and a HME 12v solar battery pack. The 12v plug for the battery pack is wide and doesn’t fit into the power plug of the Flex G-36. Any recommendations for what to do? Is there an adapter?
There are definitely adapters available. Unfortunately, I don’t know the correct adapter for the G36. It MAY be this one. There are only a few standard sizes out there. amzn.to/3wzEBqJ
I was wondering what does your solar battery percentage usually read. I have one of these flex -s and the solar battery doesn't seem to charge even after I have loaded the new firmware that is supposed to fix the solar battery charging problem. I face is south... I'm in New England. Does your camera solar panel keep your battery at 100% ? Thank you.
I bought the flex s a week ago and charged it for 12 hours and put new AA batteries in it before putting it up at my hunting spot, it’s been a week and the solar panel hasn’t recharged at all

What camera would you recommend for recreational live streaming (not hunting)?
I wouldn’t get a trail camera for live streaming. At least, not a Spypoint. There are a few manufacturers that do it, but I don’t have experience with it.
Does it uave internal memory or do I have to add a memory card?
you need a SD card
Great video. Love all in debt info. So can this not just run on the solar panel.
Thank you! I appreciate you watching.

Yes they do, but pretty sure you have to pay more for the feature to work
If you use the external battery box do you still need to insert the lit-22?
Nope. You can have an empty battery try in the camera

The battery in the solar panel can run out (depending on camera settings and activity), so the internal battery is a back up

@@leinsterlivestock8715 you're welcome
The solar panel makes the camera standout a lot more. Does it really work? Is it worth the e tra cost and large size disadvantage?

@@Horn_n_Fin_Outdoors I would be worried about someone stealing the battery box...
@@bombidude I get it. That’s always a concern
Will the solar panel keep the internal battery and the Lit22 battery charged ?
No. The solar panel will only keep its own internal battery charged
When setting up flex S camera, I do not get the (got it) option with it telling me to charge battery. What am I doing wrong?
I’m not sure what option you are referring to.

The battery percentages are never completely accurate. It’s the same with my Tactacam cameras too.

please, can this device work in Nigeria? with our sim card carrier
does it have duel sim card and does it has GPS?
I have no idea if it will work in Nigeria. You should contact spypoint
Yes, it has dual sim cards, and I’m pretty sure GPS too
I bought the flex s a week ago and charged it for 12 hours and put new AA batteries in it before putting it up at my hunting spot, it’s been a week and the solar panel hasn’t recharged at all
The solar panels may not be able to keep up with the camera. All depends on your settings and how many pics are being taken.
@@Horn_n_Fin_Outdoors would I be able to add another solar panel to it
@@dustinrichards8401 yes, as long as it has an external power jack. I don’t have my camera available to check
@@Horn_n_Fin_Outdoors I contacted spoilt and they told me it couldn’t have another solar panel because it already has one built in on it
@@dustinrichards8401 good info, thank you
Why have a solar panel if it does not charge anything. You never discussed the solar.
There is a battery inside the solar panel, that's what the solar panel charges.
@@Horn_n_Fin_Outdoors so is the other battery needed?
