A quick word on battery maintenance that will double the life of your extremely expensive lithium-ion battery… It may come as a surprise to some, that these batteries do not possess a charge memory, and that fully charging and discharging them is the very worst thing you can do… At full charge, gradual plating of the negative terminals occurs, greatly reducing battery life. Therefore charge only to 80-90% and try to avoid total discharge. (A cheap electric timer will facilitate this, without having to invest in expensive dedicated chargers). Having said this, about once a month allow the battery to discharge and then charge fully, as this re-balances the cells, and resets the digital memory, thus maintaining the accuracy of the devices power gauge. For storage, charge to no more than ½ capacity and keep away from excess heat or cold.

My biggest complaint of the G5 is that the throttle is WAY too sensitive. I get a smooth ride at full throttle, which is what you were doing in most of the video. However, if I am trying to travel at 20 mph, due to traffic, it is jerky as Heck. If I hit the tiniest bump, like a manhole cover, it causes my throttle hand to move ever-so-slightly, which then causes the bike to suddenly jerk forward. I try to reduce the speed back to nominal, and it goes too slow. It is impossible to keep a smooth speed at less than full throttle for any period of time. :(

I weigh 250. I get 29mph on eco mode and 36mph on power mode, which I note are the same top speeds the rider in the video is seeing.

You really need a better wind shield for your mic, or else put a wind noise reduction filter in editing before posting. Your voice was fine when you were stopped, but I could barely make out what you were saying when driving (and sometimes simply could not hear what you were saying at all, over the wind noise).
