Man, I wish Eileen got some development. She's one of my favorites, but she is a bit one-note. Imagine if we got an episode on her backstory with her parents
I have a theory that Eileen was part of a rebirthing project that was trying to figure out human immortality. Effectively her fetus was subjected to radiation, rebirthing and killing her continually, done for an entire year As the experiment was deemed a failure, she was let go to foster parents, who noticed her abnormality in being able to grow/shrink in size. Since she effectively was rebirthed for 365 days, every day is her birthday Obviously this is WAY too much for Wordgirl (Makes 2 Brain's situation seem like a cake walk), but it does...something Cuz she is so one note compared to even the Energy monster
The Worf Effect. A character is either shown or said to be powerful, so when they effortlessly get beaten by a different threat, said second threat is made to seem more powerful.
@@creativecritters6791 I mean Wordgirl herself beats Tobey's Robots easily but I've never seen Wordgirl beat up Eileen, probably because she's a child
Offtopic, but I feel like the show should’ve had more word-related gameshow stuff in canon. Like how in the first episode Tobey and Wordgirl go off against each other in Crash or Pie. Feel like that should’ve happened more idk. It just feels right for the show. Like a word scramble-type game, or smth else. Sorry for just spouting off random stuff. I just really wish the show took more advantage of it’s whole word theme yknow?
Ive never stopped thinking about that WG scene where she catches a meteor and is struggling with the weight, and someone asks her to do something, and she says she can't because she's too encumbered, and a country farmer says, "en-cucumber-d?" As they hold up a cucumber. And because tod Howard and DnD use the word encumbrance, ive just seen the word throughout life and always say to myself, "en-cucumber-ance"
Of all the main villains I always found Eileen to be the most terrifying, she was actually the reason I stopped watching the show when I was younger lol
I think it's kind of the joke, they perfectly nailed what it's like to deal with a young child who doesn't know how to handle being told "no" Unfortunately young children like that are completely insufferable so it's a shame they emulated it so perfectly

Tobey’s freaking scream-
It sounds like a kid at the doctor's office 😂

How come every time Tobey gets a chance to be a hero with his robots, the writers have him defeated so easily?
