This sounds heroical but kinda dark at the same time! Perfect for playing for the dark version of Osea!
Especially that Federation leitmotif at 2:07
I like how the devs handled the federation, a deconstruction of osea, a nation with such power and influence would never be that squeaky clean or heroic all the time
@@gabrielcalda7033 Osea wasn't, either, hence the (incorrect) meme of Belka doing nothing wrong (people don't get to say that when they used nuclear weapons). A non-aggression pact was signed for the Belkan War, which should have ended after Directus was liberated, but Osea used a nuclear inspection as reason to send troops further in, then they ripped up the pact and invaded the Round Table and marched in. Hell, AC5 and AC7 show that the majority of people in power in Osea still maintain that warmongering, imperialist ideal. Harling was the only thing keeping it at bay.
@@SlyAceZetaMakes you wonder who the real good guys are at times. Kinda hoping that the next AC game will have us pitted against Osea itself.
@@tgtterrorizor3407 Nah it'll be fucking Belka again. They straight up can't resist it as a plotbeat.

As much as I am salty that new missions were sold out to fukken Sony - still gotta admit, the OST slaps. Jose, in all that affair you are the only one who deserves all praise and no criticism whatsoever
As long as the soundtracks are added to spotify then i'll be happy
I'm almost positive that it's timed exclusive, everything about this screams full release soon
@@the_director_vinsanityI'd be dumbfounded if it didn't come to other platforms eventually. It'd make no sense for Sony to release big first party, full price games like GoW, Spider-Man, Horizion, etc. to pc, only to then decide that a free expansion to a $30 indie game is forever exclusive.
If I had to guess, I'd bet on it releasing for other platforms either along with the (offical/live) release of 2.0, or shortly after, considering the Ps5 version seems very similar to the current PC beta.
@@Dr.Pootis You're forgetting VR. These missions are exclusive to PS5 but also PSVR2, which they likely did in exchange for a check from Sony to help with development. More likely than not, it's timed exclusivity.
It’s probably more a question of “How long is it going to be a timed exclusive”
My man, you dropped a whole album this fire all of a sudden? i'm super hyped for whats to come next in PW with you as the composer for the game!
well the dlc that this music came with is already out. the only problem is it's a playstation exclusive (for now I hope)
@@unwoundsteak17It's actually not a PS exclusive! As of this message, the steam version has it, but you have to switch to the beta branch.
@@hisnitch ok I’ll figure out how to do that. Thanks
@@unwoundsteak17 Upon further checking, I stand correct. We ain't got shit!
@@hisnitch yeah I also just figured that out
I love hearing more of the vocals in his tracks. It just gives it that extra boost that I love so much from the main game and AC titles.
I'm making my way through the soundtrack right now, but holy shit this is just perfection
The way you mix/combine more classical musical instruments alongside electronic and modern implements is amazing. I would have killed to have the privilege of playing in an arrangement of this back when I was in band
Keep up the absolutely amazing work!
just wait until you hear Redline
The leitmotiff in 2:34 is BEAUTIFUL.
It's K-9's
Edit: nevermind it's not K-9’s, it's the fleet's motif i think...
K-9's motif is the four trumpet notes in "mobilization"
The moment those vocals kicked in, I immediately got Dawn Aerowar chills.
When you train all your students as pegasus knights and wyvern riders to establish air superiority for the Adrestian Empire.
Wait, wrong game.
This sounds like it could fit that game though.
I’m imagining Faust as Edelgard now. Somehow it really fits IMO.
2:34 WE GOT THE NEW LEITMOTIFFF BOISSS
Yessirrr
This is the K9 Leitmotif, also heard in Tarmac Tone, FRONTLINE 59, Curtains Rise, and....well pretty much almost every song in FL59 ost
Holy shit buddy I think you outdid yourself with FRONTLINE 59's tracks. I can't even play the goddamn thing because exclusivity sucks but I can just feel the passion and soul here. Amazing stuff.
Perfect theme for The White Fleet VS Task Force 1.
Conquest TF1 or Campaign (Mission 13 Valkyrie's Call) TF1?
@@marrqi7wini54 Just my imagination.
@@hopefuldawn8273Funnily enough, I posted an idea in the suggestions-discussion server of the PW Discord about playing as a Federation airman assigned to defend the harbor Task Force 1 was assigned to when the mercs hit it and your objective is to assist the salvage teams attempting to raise and repair the ships. It could use some fleshing out, but I got one person there to help me a bit with it. Sadly, no one else has noticed it yet. That would be sick to see TF1 come back and wreak their revenge on Cascadia for such an undignified destruction.
*WE ARE SO FUCKING BACK LETS GOOOOOOOOO*
To me it’s an Ace game if it have cool unrealistic super boss, smashing soundtrack, and an egotistic psychotic mute pilot swatting everything in the sky. And PW has all of it especially the soundtrack really get you going
I absolutely adore the fact that these compositions sound more 'organic' as opposed to Project Wingman's original OSTs.
That, and the clear inspiration from Dawn Aerowar spilling in... Absolutely breathtaking.
oh, I'm quite curious, what would "organic" mean ?
@@hieuluong322 I suppose I meant the way in which the music is constructed. Project Wingman's soundtrack was entirely composed on a Macbook. Thus, the instruments can sound samey and/or inorganic at times. In my opinion, it added a layer of consistency to the games motifs.
However, this being DLC, and Pavli having since learned via experimentation, Frontline 59 seems to have made better use of live instruments, as well as vocals. In many cases, sounding akin to Dawn Aerowar.
@@Neolith_ Ah, I see what you mean now.
Project Wingman: Frontline 59 was released on October 3, 2023 (30 years after the historic Battle of Mogadishu that lasted for 1 day between the Somali militia and the US troops) exclusively for PlayStation VR2.
Damn nice catch.
I jut found out that Project Wingman is on playstation 5 finally and I'm so freaking excited to finally play it.
Everysingle track in this album is just *MUAH* fitting to the atmosphere of the operations and scalation of the conflict from the federation perspective.
2:20 also aren't those the same vocals that are used in the kickstarter trailer of Dawn Aerowar? They sound similar
Second new song I listen to, starting off so good!
This feels like it would be right at home in final fantasy or Nier or something.
What a coincidence, the va of general faust(spoilers the antagonist of the last missions) is Kira Buckland.
Hahah, yeah.
Also, Faust is the result of 2B + Torres.
You'll understand once you see it.
The inspiration for “Calamity” and therefore the entire soundtrack was “Alien Manifestation”
@@catalyze_ the first part of bothbare similar
@@The_Hanged-ManOr rather, hear it.
Hey Jose! I just wanna say, im a big time fan, and your music inspires me a lot! You’re a legend among game composers, thank you! And fly safe!
dude suddenly whole new album , u just made my day ❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥
1:38 is the best part of the entire game's ost, I almost peed myself listening to it
This man knows no heights! This entire OST is a banger, and this is a great one to cap off the DLC with. If this is what you're creating with that composer magic of yours now, I look forward to what comes next.
Another one for my long run playlist. Thanks Jose Pavli! ❤
I have homework to do, it's due tomorrow, I'll do it tomorrow.
This is today and I'm gonna give this my full attention for my first full listen of the soundtrack.
Love the vocals on this one!
Solid expansion pack with solid additional OST.
Bruh the first minute is straight outta the Amusement Park from Nier. That timing is insane. I fucking love it. You killed it.
Is it the amusement park theme or a beautiful song? Cause I'm getting a beautiful song vibes.
Well Jose got inspired from nier soundtrack, try to compare compare alien manifestation and calamity.
Also spoiler the main antagonist of Frontline 59 is 2b VA.
2:34
Exactly
WE GETTING OUT THE FEDERATION WITH THIS ONE BOYS
The first minute of this track is insane
I am absolutely hyped for this new game, and the OST sounds incredible as always
But within it the chorus sounds awfully similar to Dawn's Heiress to the Sky's Chorus. Are they connected? Let us see.
Сижу собираю СУ-27 в 72-м масштабе и залип на этой композиции добавил себе в плейлист реально мощьно!

I'm hearing a lot of "Red Sea" in here

Faust is based and merc-pilled
More like dustmother-pilled
More like Khorne-pilled. (from WarHammer)
Of course limbus company depends of hired contra- wait wrong faustism
fukken BANGER
General Faust: "I don't know if the Federation is willing to insult me enough by constantly sending you reservists after me. But, I suppose that's what the Federation does; make people into who they need them to be. For you four? It's being a *pain* in my *rear."*
Driver (if he talked): "Thanks for the compliment!"
The Faust from the original writing that sold his soul to Mephistopheles gave himself up to Tzeench for more knowledge. This Faust however gave herself up to Khorne to cause as much bloodshed as possible, for Khorne cares not from whence the blood flows. She wanted her skull to be at a place of honor at the top of a pike on the Skull Throne or perhaps to become one of Khorne's greater demons. Her final lines certainly sounded like someone corrupted by Khorne. Then again I am just a nerdy WarHammer 40K fan.
I’m really enjoying the Project Wingman campaign, a lot more than I did that other fighter jet game.
My stunt mix is up for anyone who is ever bored.
Oh shoot, the PW updates finally out.
The organs and vocals give me Nier Automata vibes. Feeling like I'm about to send a murderous android on a shmup adventure up a giant marble tower while getting swarmed by robots.
Well Jose Pavli was inspired from nier automata soundtrack, also note the va of general faust is in fact 2b.
@@Bruh-td7ex Did he say so in a Q&A? I'm guilty of not watching or reading most of the statements.
>general faust
New character, I'm assuming. I haven't spoiled myself yet in the faint hopes that RB brings this to PC as a non VR expansion. He's probably got a Sony deal that stops him from doing it but who knows, it might be timed.
@@Ramash440 well I suggest to watch the making of pw soundtrack, and try to play Frontline 59 if you have ps5. Well I hope they added to for pc
Is that some Dawn motifs I hear in this, 2:09 , Jose?
Heiress to the Sky
Wait wait wait wait. Are they making a SECOND Project Wingman?! And they actually have you composing the score again?! HELL YES! Jose Pavli, you will make us all soar through any fur ball regardless of where it is with your music! May it lift our wings as it did in the greatest Showdown, and shatter our hope when showing us the Consequence of Power! Let it make our rage burn across the skies in the ultimate battle of Kings once again!
It's a free update with 6 new missions currently exclusive to PS5.
While not confirmed, circumstances imply it's only temporarily exclusive.
@@omppusolttu5799 Oh, still, new music! And hopefully it is ONLY temporary.
[Spoiler Ahead]
So Oseania is an True Evil Nation??
What I inferred was that Oceania was once an independent nation secretly governed by a mercenary cabal whose almost mythical legacy continues to haunt its conquerors well beyond its presumed annihilation as governments continue to fear those wielders of power who usually only answer to transactional agreements, principles and ideological beliefs. The Pacific Federation saw them as too much a threat to their ambitions and so fostered fear and paranoia to justify a coalition invasion into Oceania under the guise of armed humanitarian intervention and so the world responded in favour against this percieved threat towards peace and security, history would then name this event as the ‘Oceanian War’ and the conflict had to have been cruel enough for the majority of its people to side with the Cabal who naturally answered to their defence, but it was ultimately an unwinnable war against an overwhelming force.
The Federation, however, would eventually relent after a time which in turn allowed for all manner of refugees to escape the implied destructive horrors and crimes against humanity from the hands of their invaders, seeking refuge across the world in hopes of peaceful resettlement. Unable to reliably persecute them for the crime of self-defence, the Federation eventually turned to propaganda to frame the victims as extension of the boogeymen that is the fearsome cabal, creating national discrimination internationally which in turn served to sow resentment among the Oceanian-descent.
The Core states of the Federation would then spend the next 15 years continuously abusing its attained military strength in repressing both its weaker members and other nations into fulfilling their often-extreme demands and the current target just so happens to be Cascadia who is known for their superior geothermal energy industry.
The Core states of the Federation would then spend the next 15 years continuously abusing its attained military strength in repressing both its weaker members and other nations into fulfilling their often-extreme demands and their current target just so happens to be Cascadia who is known for their superior geothermal energy industry but unbeknownst to the parties concerned, the radicalised and vengeful descendants of that War had begun their play to exploit the brewing conflict against their ancestral foes.
