Clint Eastwood!
Movie name please
@@ghazalakhan7562It’s in the title “The Wolverine”(2013)
Those aren’t bear hunters. They are poachers. There is an extremely beige difference between the two.
@@MSarM - Funny you should say that. The creator of him said he had Clint in mind when designing his look.
Logan-"ASK ME"
Guy-"Where did you find it"
Logan-"Well funny you should ask"
that gets me every time
Yeah, lol :D
Seriously 😂
@@FilmeyBox literally🤣🤣🤣🤣
I got to see a pre-screening of this movie, we all died with laughter when this happened.
The expression before saying it lol
I love Wolverine's mountain man look. Makes him look more like an animal. I was hoping to see him tear some shit up. I want to see this Wolverine with an R rating.
Too bad it wasn't but at least we got LOGAN with an R rating.
Deadpool 3 apparently he's in his prime
Why though.
I too like Logan's mountain man look. Most badass look he ever had.
there is a old man logan movie, if that helps
I love how they subtly hint at some of Logan's more animalistic abilities (aside from the claws). His enhanced hearing and scent being a big one, but also in some of the comics he could communicate empathically with animals, and had a strong kinship with them.
He did communicate with the bear before this scene.
They portray it pretty well in all the Fox movies honestly, and in the cartoons as well. Evolution has him sniffing around a lot, and the protective side especially.
As Riddick said, 'It's an animal thing.'
Yes. I loved Wolverine's extraordinary empathy with animals in the comics. This film ultimately showed it.
Subtly hint? Have watched a single X men movie involving Wolverine?
Who else can portray a brutal antihero mutant in one film, and glide across a stage in a tuxedo belting out show tunes in another? Hugh Jackman does it all.
@Poweltav I like both actors very much. But are either known for their stage acting or singing?
@Poweltav wouldn’t say Tom hardy as venom has been all that good. Like him as an actor but the venom films are mediocre or just flat out bad.
@@spiralphoenix9839 bad? the word you're looking for is S H I T
He can do it all doesn’t mean he should 😂 I just couldn’t watch him in The Greatest Showman, I couldn’t taint the image of my Wolverine with dancing and singing
Keanu Reeves
*I really want this mountain man appearance to be in the new Wolverine game*
Oh Insomniac will definitely put movie skins in the game. I mean, just look at Spider-Man. Though I'm curious if they will acquire (or already acquired) the rights to Hugh Jackman's face (I don't think I phrased it right. The rights to Hugh's likeness? The rights to hire him to come in and have face-scans for the 3D model? I don't really know how this works, but I know they can't just put Hugh's face in the game without permission), and actually model the whole body and facial features to look like him. Since Foxverse Logan never once wore a mask, so I don't know if they'll just add movie costumes onto Wolverine as just the costumes themselves, or if they'll full-on put Hugh Jackman in the game.
@@TheScarletWing2490 Hopefully have Hugh's face. He is the one and only wolverine and always will be. He's the reason I love Wolverine so fingers super crossed
Even better if Hugh voices him too...
@@JohnnyLCob that's highly unlikely. Although Steve Blum is a perfect candidate for Wolverine. He's voiced him before
@@JohnnyLCob lol what? Thats literally never happening
This movie wasn't bad, it wasn't great, but the "go ahead ask me where I found it, ASK ME, well funny you should ask" bit makes me laugh every time.
What really makes me laugh is him getting forcibly cleaned up and shaved, the girl tells him "you look nice " and he says " I feel violated."🤣🤣🤣🤣
This move is hateful. Hollywood hates hunters.
It started strongly, but, the last third was weak......
I rewatched it and thought it was excellent, much better than I remembered. Although the rubbish 'twist' reveal and boss battle were both let-downs the film contained some phenomenally good set-pieces and fights and had a lot of the weight and seriousness of Logan. Not as good as Logan, but a lot closer than I gave it credit for first time around. It definitely merits a second watch.
It was pretty good until the mech fight at the end. That was bad.
Man, Hugh Jackman was born to play Wolverine. He was just outstanding in the role. Can't wait to see him return in Deadpool 3.
He wasn't born to become Wolverine, he became Wolverine before Robert Downey Jr. because Iron Man
I can't wait for Wade to point out Jackmans height not being accurate to the comics 🤣
Wade: "You're a little taller than you should be partner, is that because you got tired of doing scenes without your shoes on?"
Logan: "fuck are you talkin about?"
Wade: "there's that famous r rated potty mouth that broke the rules of the character he's playing"
He was extremely kind to disinfect that wound.
This was actually a scene in a 1980's Wolverine comic. He tracked the 🐻 and killed it but he really punished the hunters.
Oh thats good thing when film makers take scenes from Canon comic
Wolverine limited series volume 1.
“Well funny you should ask”
😂😂😂😂
No body will cant play this role no matter how good of an actor they are.. Hugh Jackman will always be Wolverine
Comic Wolverine will always be Wolverine
Daniel Radcliffe is the next wolverine
@@mrbeeoutdoors3213 oh hell no
@@exotic_7531 already launching the petition. It will be done!
Well either him or the lad that played Frodo...
no one can replace him he’s the goat
0:25 That's true Wolverine. His senses are freaking powerful. People think it's all about healing factor and adamantium skeleton and claws but it's not. Before he's anything, he's a Wolverine with super senses
Without his special ability, he won't make it this far. Imagine meeting Magneto as your opponent on your first day.
Agreed. And then you add in his Superhuman strength, speed, agility, reflexes, durability, and stamina; you've got a very difficult opponent. Not to mention his martial arts skills.
@@condorX2 what are you talking about? Wolverine has made it through over 300 years of life itself. Tf you mean he wouldn't get far. There are other threats besides magneto that he's beaten.
Hugh Jackman as Wolverine always reminds me of Clint Eastwood back in his day
ah yes, the pointy nose
It’s the squint.
It's the beard
There are pictures of Hugh Jackman and a younger, bearded Clint Eastwood and they look eerily similar. Like, a lot similar.
I was just watching Dirty Harry recently, and thought about how well he would have fit for Wolverine had there been more Marvel shows or films back in the day.
"Well, funny you should ask"...and his face is hilarious
The worst thing about this movie is that it had so much potential.
I remember everyone in my theater laughing hysterically when Logan said "funny you should ask"
Must be all school students
@@miyamoto900 Maybe, maybe not. At least they had a sense of humor.
Guy holding the bottle of beer was like, "dafuq did I do?"
1:29 There's something both scary and badass about Logan's healing forcing out a piece of glass.
That was his tongue.
@@anubisawakened3250 😂
Scary because that fear of the unknown. You can see it on the bear-killers face. That makes it bad ass.👍🏼
Logan looks cool with the long hair and beard...👍🏻💯 Definitely a mountain man, alone in the woods trying to figure shit out. Great movie. And of course Logan was a perfect film. The X-Men are the best.
His hair and beard are standard length. When they shaved his head for adamantium bonding hair and sideburns regenerated to normal length.
his memories are the only things that don't heal, bub
That was some next level ASPCA.
Hugh Jackman is one of the greatest actors, such emotion
There will never be another Logan like Hugh Jackman.
Never
Never ever
Never ever under any weather
I want a whole movie of wolverine protecting wildlife like this!!!!!
I heard once somewhere that unlike human, any wild animals, especially predators, rarely attack him, because they see him as ONE of them. So that makes sense why he was so angry in this case.
He was angry that it killed people not that the bear was poisoned
@@nguyentuananh1600 it is because wolverine has the ability to communicate with wild animals, atleast in the comics idk about the movie
Yes!!!! 😁

What's up with Wolverine and bar fights? The first X-Men movie had one, this one and the Wolverine game teaser also had one.
Also gets into a fight with his brother at a bar in X-Men Origins Wolverine.
@@SunriseDreams- ua-cam.com/video/FO0877s-KIg/v-deo.html
Don't forget first class. Lol
Xavier and Magneto have chess, Wolverine has bars.
Wolverine gets into bad fights in comics it’s a personal trope of his because people pick fights with him and usually lose
It’s funny how Hugh is able to make lines this cheesy flow and he still has a sense of humor among his brooding nature
This is my favorite Wolverine vs Goons fight out of them all, cause in this one they actually get scared when they see what wolverine is capable of and don't just all keep attacking him no matter how pointless it seems. Like I love the Logan intro fight, but they see him tank a shotgun blast point blank to the stomach and still think it's a good idea to mess with him.
Truth. It's really moronic when he disembowels three bad guys and the fourth runs at him screaming and throwing a wild right hook. It's like... bro, didn't you see what just happened?
The face Yukio makes when the hunter points the gun is always priceless. She's like "Bitch Please"
I feel so sad for The Wolverine.
Why
@@lennarthagen3638I also ask, Why??
Because Wolverine is portrayed (in comics and movies) as a tragic character who has suffered many hardships. Also because of his healing power (outlasting everyone). He had a different upbringing: he killed his real father. And because of his longevity (due to healing power) he also killed 5 children that he never knew he had (remember: life longevity). A real loner. Suffered depression. And amnesia. And in the end, was slowly suffering from (and dying due to) adamantium poisoning. Whilst he gets older, his healing power becomes less effective, thereby postponing his death and also prolonging his suffering. Some of it was seen/shared via the Logan movie.
That "Whoa" at 2:34 was unnecessarily funny and I'm all for it
My absolute favorite X-Men character. Logan kicks ass!
2:25 I love the little expression that Rila Fukushima gave when the guy pointed the gun at her. It was a look of annoyance and disgust at the same time, as if she was insulted at the idea of being threatened by such a crude weapon like a gun when she just explained the delicate lethality her own katana wields.
Guess she doesn’t know samurai loved guns and killing with them.
I thought I was the only one that picked that up lol
Danzen: The ancient samurai sword with comedic timing powers. 😂
But you misspelled it according to what the subtitles said.😊
Once ever year, this exact scenario replays in my head. Haven’t seen this film in years and it’s crazy it popped up in my feed.
I still don't understand how, despite everything he has done, Wolverine is not known in the world of fantasy he is in. How people, with tvs, internet and so on, do not recognize him!
I guess he's more like a local cryptid. A legend everyone's cousin swears they saw in the woods one night
Logan went full-blown Canadian in this scene.
I love that split second when she moves into a fighting stance, looks actually dangerous.
2:23 I find this funny. A man with a gun need to walked toward a girl to shoot her.
This movie was great and still will stand the time .
"This sword is hundreds of years old, and was named Dan-"
*Bang*
Roll credits
It's like in the movie "The Incredibles" "He starts monologuing. Why do they always monologue?".
? If you're talking about the guy pulling out the gun, I would guess she would be able to slice the bullet in half, Deadpool style, since she's no ordinary girl. Even if it killed her, it would piss off Wolverine and he would possibly slaughter everyone in the bar.
@@colbybrasher9300don't forget even though Deadpool sliced a lot of the bullets he still got hit a lot of times
Actually, she knew she wasnt going to die that night, thats why she took the time to explain the words story
If he wasn't angry before the guy bottled him, he sure was after.
I really want to see an r rated wolverine movie where he has this exact look, with the beard and the long grizzled hair. Just tear apart people who deserve to be ripped up
Wolverine: Unleashed ?!
Love how this bar scene was the inspiration for the Wolverine game trailer
Cool. I mostly admire how Wolverine wanted to be sympathetic and not do harm to anyone, just could not stand any injustices he would see, cross his path.
It really showed that he kept getting into trouble when he wanted to do the right thing
Good movie very underated all 3 wolverine movies great Hugh Jackman brill 👍
HES BACK!!!!😭😭
one of the best scenes in the movie!!!
Wat movie is this
And it takes the soul of anything that it touches true story.
I love this scene.
I'm trying to figure out how he managed to hide the arrow before slamming it into that man's hand.
bro he’s wearing some mountain man heavy clothing it would be easy. or even hide it up ur wrist/forearm
He’s wearing a thick jacket, so it would be relatively easy to conceal it in his sleeve.
He stuck it under his magnificent beard
Reverse grip, shaft against forearm, forearm against body with arrow in between, keeping the point near his hand.
Inside his arm
This was the only part of that film I really enjoyed. Disappointing when I was so excited about the prospect of exploring Logan going to Japan.
What a huge act man that Hugh Jackman. And he's a huge jacked man.

When anyone walks into a bar and explains the history of their sword, what it means, and what it does, maybe chill out and give them some room to work around. I read the original mini-series when it came out in the mid 80s and this is nothing less than beautiful.
I had the whole thing in one graphic novel. It was legit.

Ahh... I had to google it.. That is her actual face.. I thought it might have been CGI.... good lord..
LOL
I thought it was Sid from Ice Age.
I feel like this is the most underrated Wolverine film. It’s many peoples least favorite and many critics absolutely shit on it. I honestly don’t see why. I’m a sucker for origin stories. Matrix 1, Batman Begins, Alien, Terminator, Robocop, Iron Man, even Captain America 1. I LOVE these movies. I feel like most of the sequels and team ups are derivatives.
it got fairly decent reviews (X-Men Origins: Wolverine was the one that rightfully got shat on🤣🤣).
Ultimately though, it’s just nothing compared to Logan🤣
The man with the beer, "The fuck did I do?"
This was really a great film. I don’t feel as though it was quite appreciated enough back when it came out.
0:26 Wolverine doesn't bring out his claws because he knows he doesn't need them...
Hugh would make a good warrior in a Medevil knight movie setting.
Criminally underrated film
That punch said mind your business 😂😂
Hollywood just can't resist perpetuating the myth of how well katana cut, can they?
You should probably do some research before you post silly comments.
When she started explaining the sword, I remember thinking: 'Oh, are you gonna do the thing with the sword where you put it in the scabbard and then they drop dead when the hilt hits the scabbard?' And I was 70% right. Close enough. I also remember thinking: 'She actually did it. She did the samurai thing with the sword. I mean, they're not dead but it still counts!'
That line about poisoning an animal but not putting it out of its misery made me think Wolverine saw a lot of himself in that bear.
The scene I needed
I want an R rated wolverine movie (or at least cameo butcher scene) of him in his prime. Most of the movies weren't R rated and the only one that was he has a hugely nerfed healing ability/fighting skill in comparison. Yes he did have that one brief scene at the end but I WANT MORE.
You kind of did get him in his prime in Logan. There was the younger version of him in that movie. Logan really was awesome and we were lucky to have it made.
The Logan movie is tame compared to the game.
What an amazing scene
This film is a forgotten gem.
Watched this 2 days ago, the first half of the movie is good, but the later half is just downright bad, decent at best.

I believe, in the hands of a skilled swordsman, what she did is possible 👏
Yeah. Cutting a glass bottle with a sword, without shattering it.
Only a petite wahman in an american movie can, because of the writers.
With a real bottle, wish you luck.
@@ilmaio It would work if the edge was only a few molecules thick, but I concede your point.

The visual concept of her sword not cutting until seconds later is kind of a G rated homage to Shigurui's nana-cho nenbutsu.
Even the way she waits to drop the last bit of the sword into the sheath is very visually similar to the way they did it in the anime.

I'm glad that the chair and beer bottle decided to act on cue, otherwise that scene would be weird.
I only realized now that the poison was actually from the female antagonist in the movie, not the hunters 😂
Wait really? How? Watched it a long time ago.
Is the poison really from Viper in this movie? And wouldn't Logan be able to recognize its scent when he met her if it was from her? And why would she lend out her poison to hunters? Money I can see but she's not hard up for money. Boredom? She's got a lot on her plate already. It doesn't make sense that the poison would be from her.
