I think this is less a demo of the gear than it is a demo of the insanely talented producer/musician. Got my subscription, pretty interesting gear on here too.
Bruh, your product demos and drills are better than half the modular music I can find out there. You are a boss. Also, I've been following your work since the OP1 videos and I must say, IMO you've never rocked anything as hard as you rock your modular system. 👏👏👏
Your jams with this pushed me to get one. I blame you. That glitchy thing is exactly what I've been looking for. I am sure I won't get anything anywhere near as good as this mind haha
Really love what you got out of this one, the glitches in the choral loop section reminded me a lot of the Silent Hill soundtrack. I also love these longer form jam videos, it's really great to sit down and immerse yourself in a beautifully-curated soundscape for upwards of half an hour. Thanks for the wonderful content :)
Dig da funky groove man! I can't wait to get mine. As long as they don't quickly make a mk2 like they did with nebulae, leaving me with a white elephant.
Actually there's a lot you can do with Ableton stock stuff, especially Live 11. Try playing with semirandomized notes in Tension then add a randomized autopan and beat repeat after it, then add a bitcrusher and/or drive controlled by a random max4live LFO, finally a Hybrid Reverb and Grain Delay or Echo (with modulation and reverse) on a return track.
@@RedMeansRecordingModular lol dude I’ve been trying to figure it out know someone the modules you have. Maybe you sequenced it with Rene or even Bloom? It just has that cool chord change... I’ll figure it out one day lol
The bassline melody basically outlines an inverted Bb minor triad, the notes are Bb, Db, F, Ab. You can pick any minor triad, play its first then third note then play the fifth note an octave lower in your arpeggio and youll get this sound. In terms of the groove, it sounds like its on a triplet or 3/4 grid compared to the 4/4 beat

dude, everything you do is just so good, such solid content m'man. I'm definitely getting this piece of kit.
i realize I'm quite off topic but does anybody know a good site to stream new movies online?
@Alfred Merrick definitely, been watching on FlixZone for months myself =)
@Alfred Merrick Thanks, signed up and it seems like they got a lot of movies there :) Appreciate it !
@Ronin Omari glad I could help xD
Having a wonderfully bent day!
This might be the best demo of a module ever!

Who on Earth can dislike this? Thank you for making this video! Great inspiration.🙏🏻
This is so cool. When I have money later I am going to do this too!

inspirational just got a data bender need to make room in my rig can't wait thanks for sharing
Holy guacamole, the choral section.
29 seconds in and I've already clicked thumbs up. Those glitchsome chordal runs!
Edit: Choir just kicked in. Where's the double thumbs up button?
cool cool. Is this like a play by play?
@a.j. wilson, what did you think of that drum and bass? I would love to know your thoughts. 6:00
love your modular stuff, feel like it strikes a great balance between that typical modular idm sound while also still being really musical!
So sick.
great stuff Jeremy!
thanks for sharing.
love rings jam and ambient loop. Well done.
God...... the hours it would take to replicate just 2 minutes of this on Ableton .........

And save the effects as a custom Effect Rack ;)
But yeah of course it's much more fun with modular
Seriously, the bassline in the Rings Jam is epic in its simplicity. Please divulge the sequencing/note progression! Great groove....
I don't know sorry!

Play that funky music!
Gawwwwd mode
Good one. Can you remind the name of choral works you sampled? I believe you mentioned them in one of the videos, but can't recall in which one.
What is your method for triggering rings in this example?
Seems like you run the whole mix through on most demos, with wet/dry in the middle?
