His Lightbulb so called idea was born, knowing that how good Bootstrap Bill was. As a pirate code, if Barbossa was not jealousy when they took Astair gold and be wishful, and when Jack was against that of being wishful of material wealth instead of solid equality between pirates, and seeing from outside perspective, Bootstrap Bill has to that Mutiny which eventually stranded Jack in an island and Bill end up in Davy Jones Locker :/. Jack always knows how good heart Bill has, so ended up giving his heart to Will jus to sail the sea and be an explorer as he always and as always he promises he helped Will to found his profound love for Swann! So classy pirate!!

I like the way Jack says "Captain" when talking about Barbossa, because it hints at the reveal of Barbossa's mutiny later on, and also shows Jack's dismissive attitude towards him by mocking the fact that he did not earn that title nor the Black Pearl.

Weirdly enough, a mutiny was "earning" a ship and the title of captain, because most pirate ships elected their captains and were very democratic. The captain only really had the power to overrule them and to take full command during combat, but most things typically went to a vote.
So if you convinced enough people to mutiny against the captain, you pretty much were the captain. Jack's dismissive attitude towards Barbossa is from jealousy I suppose, but the audience shouldn't feel the same way.

It does, half-pin hinges. The only thing holding that cell door in place is the half-pin and gravity. If it was riveted on the other hand (which would have to be a full-pin running the length of the hinge), then no dice.
Half-pin hinges were much more quicker to produce and install, perfect if you needed some cells made to accommodate a sudden influx of prisoners. Only thing is there would rarely be a tool large enough in a cell for a prisoner to use even if they knew how to do it. Most furniture was bolted to the wall or not even remotely strong enough to use as a lever.
