I have a pair of yellow headed white breasted male and a black header purple breasted female... What will be the outcome on your opinion? Counting on your reply
Hi Ratul. Thanks for the feedback and question. Both the white breast and the orange head are gene's that need two copies to produce visual offspring. (One from the cock and one from the hen) Assuming the hen does not carry the orange (yellow) head gene and she does not carry the white breast gene then the chicks will all be black headed, purple breasts split for both white breast and orange/yellow head. Theoretically you may get a red headed chick as well. However if you get chicks that have a white breast then she is carrying the white breast gene. If you get orange heads then she is also carrying this gene. The orange or yellow head as you referring to is a little more complicated but I don't want to cause confusion.
