Verona's Best Kept Amarone Wine Secret in Valpantena

Today she is at Costa Arènte in Valpantena (Valpolicella), speaking with Antonella Imborgia, marketing manager, and Giovanni Casati, chief winemaker and agronomist.

Today the winery is harvesting the Corvinone grapes for Amarone.
Learn about the historical pergola system of training and how it protects the grapes from the weather and about the characteristics of the grape varieties used to make Amarone. Go behind the scenes in the "fruttaio", the special drying room were the grapes are dried for making Amarone, and explore the underground cellars where the wine is carefully matured.
