Your garland and wreaths are beautiful!! Things like that would cost quite a bit and you are so fortunate to have everything you need on your property. We have holly bushes and for some reason I've only ever seen a few(literally) berries on them. I wish they were loaded with them so I could use them for decor!
You are a real artist Anna. I was admiring your blue and white kitchen tiles again and then you showed us your lino cut prints of the Chateau. Then you added in the wreaths and snowflakes made from paper you had printed...take a bow!
We'll give you a wreath tutorial in return for helping us with our mess of an editing setup! Merry Christmas to you, John, Bump and the families, hope we get to meet again soon!
Anna the Artisan - I loved all your creations in this video! The girls were so cute helping picking out and decorating the Christmas trees, and of course, Phillip's fixing, cooking, and his wonderful humor. May your Christmas be merry and bright celebrating Christ's birth!
Dearest Anna, I have decorated my very small apartment inspired by your decorations! I went off to the nearby forest and took my Ivy and some other branches I liked and it looks sooooo good!!! Thank so much for the inspiration! I wish all of you a very merry Christmas including your extended family, I mean Benoit , blessings for all!!!!
Superb decorative designs, beautifully executed. But I always remain conscious of the fact that without the surpassingly excellent videography, lyrical cinematography and thoughtful music selection and pacing plus highly accomplished audio engineering, the designs and the renovation efforts would all appear... arduous and flat. Amazing UA-cam productions, every week. Thank you, Phillip!
In Sweden we have The farmers handbook it’s an very old book with wise words and practical instructions and it says that if the tree has many red berries the winter will be without snow and vise versa
We have mulled wine in Sweden too, but I guess with more spices? We use cinnamon, dried ginger, cardamom seeds, orange peel, raisins and as many as 12 cloves that are put in unseasoned brandy for four days. Then we strain the liquid into a pan and heat it up with sugar and red wine. Yum!
That lino cut is more than amazing! But the repair of the window too. And the Glühwein of course ✨🍷✨(cinnamon, star anise and cloves, only three of the cloves please!)
Love how you decorated for the holidays in such a traditional way. A few new things but largely by foraging, recycling, and scraps from other projects. Everything you put together was lovely.
5:17 To Anna, Phillip, and the girls...to Ziggy too. Have a very MERRY CHRISTMAS 🎄🎁 and a PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR.!! I love all you have done in that beautiful chateau of yours, with a very high sense of taste. I would also wish Benoit a Wonderful Christmas...I am absolutely in love with him 😊. See you all next year.
You make beautiful Christmas decorations. I am particularly impressed with your garlands. Your chateau looks beautifully seasonal. Ziggy needs an out door coat. Merry Christmas from Canada! 🎄🇨🇦❤️
This video had a lovely mix of regular DIY, Christmas DIY and foraging in nature with a trusty Ziggy to provide a noble profile and supervisory skills. Never absent, of course, Philip’s wry sense of humour. Merry Christmas!
Anna beautiful garlands and wreaths … the cards are so special and pretty, cutting out the chateau must have been such hard work. But they are lovely. The handmade ornaments from your wallpaper just made the tree ! Your so creative . Philip in the US we call that mulled wine. Cinnamon, cloves, star anise , oranges. It looks so good ! Ziggy needs a coat !
You two make my heart sing. Glad I found your channel. I love Phillip’s dry humor. I think that it must be a German thing. I have a very strong German heritage and a VERY dry humor 💕💕
Wonderful! I love decorating for Christmas and so appreciate you have shared your beautiful ideas. And handsome Ziggy, looks as though he was posing for us! 😊
Ziggy needs a winter jacket. He is a short-haired dog, after all. I was thrilled to see your Christmas preparations - especially the trimming of the tree - and I can hardly wait to see your next video.
My mom used to make her own garland, wreaths, etc. She'd run next door and raid our neighbors giant pine tree. I learned from her, so when people compliment my garlands & wreaths and ask how I do it, I tell them, "Get your greenery together, lock them together (wire, clips, whatever) and then just start shoving flowers, berries, etc. in." Take a step back, if it doesn't look good, try something else. I can't tell you how many times I didn't think it looked perfect, but was so tired, I just said, "Eff it, it stays like that..." and they say how amazing it looks. It's complicated and easy at the same time. Yours looks incredible. Kudos!
What lovely Christmas decorations. Thank you for all the content you make for us. The renovation is beautiful. You are both very talented and hard working. I enjoy the creativity and the sense of humor. Merry/Happy Christmas from Texas.
How wonderful to be in the chateau, renovation, almost finished , drinking gluhwein, munching cookies, w/ your family. Glad Anna's parents could make it, glad the window is fixed, beautiful decorations for the tree.
Enjoyed this so much, and I think you re very wise to have the person who broke the window make retrubution. A hard lesson but we learn to take responsiblity for our actions. You are very loving parents to do this. The tree and the garland look beautiful as do the hand made ornaments. Anna your talents never cease to amaze.
You're not understanding Philipp's humor. He didn't make his daughter pay for the window. It was an accident. He was kidding. He has very sarcastic humor. He's so rarely serious.
How wonderfully soul filling that you are able to imagine your garland and trust your gut and creativity through foraging and pulling other bits from the house. Beautiful! What a gift!
It's spring across here and we're moving into summer shortly. You somehow manage to always make me feel that even being so far way I'm nevertheless included in all that is going on there - so a big thank you for that.
You made me think of my sweet and adored mother. She was wonderful, smart, talented... she never missed a thing. Thank you very much. I wish you a merry Christmas.
I always wanted to use ivy to make a garland, but I didn't know how to use it. Now I learned how you attached different layers of branches to the ivy. Your kitchen garland is lush, festive, and beautiful. 20:37
Wow this was so much fun! Anna it was wonderful watching you make the garland and wreath, and of course your ornaments and stunning Christmas cards! Great video guys! Thank you so much : D!
I have watched all your videos and I think this is one of my favorites so far! Both of you are so talented and your home is so lovely. I hope you will share your Christmas table and menu with us....
Anna, I did a lino block print of holly and mistletoe. Printed it on just the corner of white napkins with green and dotted with red "berries" using fabric paint. They came out great. Also made wreaths for my parents and grandparents graves. Thanks for the inspiration.
Ana, I trully need to tell you that I have a crush with garlands and wreath. In here Puerto Rico are so expensive. Looking how you made your own with natural material it just took my breath away. They are absolutely beautiful!!! I admire your creativity. You both are an inspiration.
Anna, spray-painting dry plants is a great idea. The garland looks amazing. And the wreathes! And cards! I am inspired! Philip, it’s great that you are clear about who’s to blame. lol Merry Christmas! 🎄
You two are absolutely AMAZING! Thank you. So talented and you seem to be lovely people and a lovely couple and a lovely family. See you next week - another episode to look forward to.😊
Wow I wish I had a chateau to decorate. And taste. And style. And talent.
I think it comes down to taking a chance and in particular marrying the right woman 😉
And plenty of money!
😂😂😂
Most of the stuff can be learned, you can acquire taste. The artistic talent comes in your dna (or not). Love from Spain 😊
And some hot mulled wine. And Ziggy.
Haha Phillip being such a dad about the window and his daughter 😂
I love Philip’s humour, poker face and spilling the daughter’s identity who broke the window!!😂
What a wonderful episode! I want to compliment Anna and Philip on their music selections.
I was thinking the same thing! Wonderful music!
"It would be quite traumatizing to shame her publicly... Anyway it's Ella-" killed me and the photo being used as her mugshot for the crime
Anna, I love how your chateau has your creativity everywhere. Beautiful!
Anna is a true artist! The wreaths, garland and cards…. Chefs kiss 🥰
Anna’s creativity never ceases to amaze me.
Anna your artwork is beautiful, so lovely to have such talent and patience!
Thank you very much!
Perhaps Ziggy needs a wooly doggo jumper from Santa to keep him warm for Winter. I love the creativity. Anna, you have great sense of style.
I laughed aloud “with Phillip under supervision”. Thank you for sharing this delightful video.
Anna, everything you do is so beautiful and inspiring 😍🙏
Ziggy is the best behaved dog. He runs and runs, but never runs away. Such a good boy.
Phillip, your sense of humor is hilarious.
Beautiful.awe Ziggy needs a wee Christmas jumper

lol at 13:20 you are practically disappearing into the wall. Perfect camouflage 😅
That color looks great on him though
In Sweden we have The farmers handbook it’s an very old book with wise words and practical instructions and it says that if the tree has many red berries the winter will be without snow and vise versa
interesting!
Those little ones are so blessed to have wonderful, creative, kind parents AND live in a beautifully restored chateau. Merry Christmas!🎄🎁

I love the asides from Philipp, they crack me up. I also enjoy seeing how things are made, fixed, done. Hello from Manche, I love living in Normandy.

Anna, you are so talented! Greetings from Cape Town, South Africa
Ziggy is an utter sweetheart!! That shot at the end, his paw in your hand, Anna - so so cute!!
Great video as usual with a lot of festive creative content. I love the way UA-cam closed captioning renders Glühwein as “glue vine!l”😂
