What a sweetheart Nathan is! He has been game to play a persona on Philip’s channel. Congratulations on the fact that he has won a place at chef’s school. I love the straight face he maintains during Philip’s French lessons. This channel is so engaging because of Philip and Anna’s wry sense of humour despite the occasional hair raising obstacles that confront them seemingly on a daily basis.
Your whole philosophy approaching a mind boggling major project is so encouraging for those of us who have demonstrably smaller projects to embrace. Philip’s sense of humour (not to minimize Anna’s contribution) when he is dealing with any of the Chateau’s projects is so heart warming and encouraging for those of us who would rather have our eyes picked out by pins than doing those tasks. The two of you just forge ahead, embrace the task, deal with the issues and miraculously complete it! Love this channel! 💋💋

It was a joking reference (stated in the comment) to this particular vlog and the content creaters' chosen title. I've watched long enough to know he's literally dug plumbing trenches with his bare hands. They're both fantastic, talented, hardworking people I thoroughly enjoy.

As I am renovating my house room by room, I can't begin to wrap by head around the grand scale of your renovation. I love the comedy between everyone. My husband and I neither think the other is doing things properly but somehow we get it done and it looks okay, not perfect but we can live with that. Enjoyed your content so very much. I didn't know that old bathtubs could be renovated that way. It takes a lot of patience and faith to keep going. It is a gargantuan task, but worth the effort. 🐾🐾🐾

Good luck with finding a protective shield for your hands next time! You may have to invent something that covers each finger.Something like a mitten but surrounding each finger individually.Good luck!! I'm glad you found some hand protection to wear when using the acid! Does it help to "Stare" and "Stir" for 10 minutes???? In America if you "stare" at someone for 10 minutes you might get arrested for stalking.I'm glad Anna was there to supervise your "Staring" and "Stirring"! Anna, you are such a hard worker! After the sanding, from the nose up, a preview of yourself in about 30 years :) Philip, Benoit is so lucky to have your help every step of the way! LOL Nathan, you need to join a union so you can have your coffee breaks! Do they have unions in France (speaking from the USA...) You are all making my heart light for a while - I lost a 16 yr old cat to cancer last week and my heart is hurting....thank you for sharing your experiences - I love that I can escape to France and spend time with all my chateau rescuers! Keep your chins up, I'm rooting for you and your beautiful little girls!
