Someone’s got mad videography and editing skills. Love your work. 👍👍
Such an underrated channel. We need more exposure for you to go full-time. There are so many hidden gems in the Lerderderg. Keep posting!!
Haha now that would be good! Thanks heaps, I'm glad you're digging them.
Yeah, I'm almost reluctant to draw attention to the 'derg' coz it's so close to Melbourne and really under-visited. You get day hikers near the two ends of the park but once you're past the circuit tracks you'll usually never see a soul. You can have a genuine bush experience and be home in an hour. I go in light with just a tarp and mozzie net so I don't have to haul stuff up the steep sides of the gorge. I've been woken up by koalas, a beautiful little glider colony to watch at sunset as they silently fly from tree to tree. Far enough away from Melbourne to get a good star show. Nice swimming holes etc. nice film mate.
Awesome quality in your work I hope you do many more. The extra info is great as well. So much better than the typical 4wd videos. Keep making more.
Stoked you're back posting man! Have missed your videos. Looks like a great trip to do.
Thanks mate, I've been missing putting them out too but things have just been crazy busy!
You capture everything so well, I’m embarrassed to say I have a channel when up against this sort of content.
Absolutely love watching this channel. 👍🏼
Haha all comes down to years of practice, I'm fortunate enough to work with a camera for my job so it's basically cheating. Thanks heaps for commenting mate!
Thanks Aidan. I always look forward to your vlogs. Your link to My Maps has opened up another level of trip planning that I will eagerly use.
Cheers Terry! Ah I'm glad you liked the My Map, I've only just discovered them but I'm keen to make one for every trip going forward now, such a great tool.
So many beautiful state forests around but it is sad that they can be logged ! Thanks for the great video !
Native timber harvesting in Victoria’s state forests ended yesterday 31/12/23
Great vid mate. Lerdy really is a hidden gem.
Thanks man, that's for sure!
great vid guys, awesome views on the hike, loved the campsite, cheers.
Cheers Boyd, it's such a good spot!
Nice vid such a beautiful place lerdy the only problem is the disgusting people who don’t respect the bush or fellow campers that get in there and ruin it for genuine people who love the nature last time I was there was a group that went on a rampage till 5am other campers had to leave halfway through the night they were chopping down trees with a chainsaw at 2am drinking all night screaming then fighting with each other then exploding cans in the fire early hours of the morning they were absolutely disgusting one of the worst camping trip I’ve had in 30 years
We went there last night. Was not too busy at Upper Chadwick, considering it was NYE. It was great for the afternoon, and into the night. At 2:30 this morning, a 4wd came in with about 4 people. They cut down a tree started a campfire, had lights on which lit up my tent. They were talking very loud, with little consideration of other campers. Every 20 minutes or so, they brought out a leaf blower to fan the fire. At 5:30 they just up and left, with fire still going. Was a great trip until they arrived.
This is a very well done video about Lederdeg mate. I usually go there when ever i get bored its about a 45 minute deive for me.
But still your video increases my blood pressure wanting to do the hike. 😅
Love the shot of the healthy subs 👌
Just spectacular scenery my friend, absolutely amazing place! I would love to visit this and hike there! Stunning 🔥🔥
Thanks Ervin, you definitely should one day!
Like others have said that rock step on Digger's Track has changed a lot after all this rain. Another great video.
Thanks man, cheers for the heads up!
That rockstep on diggers was a mission a month or so ago when we went along there after a bit of rain. Twin locked on 35s and just slid all over the place. Had to winch up
Oh damn! Good to know. We shot this one back in May aha
Fantastic video, mate.
Aha diggers track used to be a dirt road with that 1 big bog hole but in the last few years its chopped out quickly
Aha yeah it's getting pretty wild, even the chicken track has the potential to catch a few people out
@@AdventureONTV yea not wrong. I got stuck there last time i went through aha
It's not only an hr from Melbourne if you live on the Western side.
Anything good on the Eastern side that's only an hr away from southern coast?
Hi..do suggest to go with 2wd?
+1 sub. Tops video. I've spent a fair bit of time in there on a 200cc farm bike. Which is relatively easy going compared to taking a 4wd.
