I watch this because of the trend at tiktok where they eat snow...and there's one video that show how dirty the snow really is...buy the method she/ he used is different rather than let it melt ..she/he use torches i think to melt the snow and it become murky....so thanks for the vid broo really appreciate it now i know..

Dissolved solids in water is not an indicator of how clean it is. Dissolved solids have to do mostly with mineral content. That’s why the bottled water has a high PPM number- Crystal Geyser is a bottled spring water, unfiltered but certainly not “dirty”. That would also explain why the PPM for the snow was so low. It’s essentially evaporated water that has fallen back down to earth. When water evaporates, it doesn’t take minerals with it. BUT snow is not necessarily CLEAN even if it’s perfectly white and fresh. So, while that little gizmo you’re using there can show you how high the mineral content of your water is, it CANNOT be used to determine how clean the water is. Also, it can be helpful to let you know how well your filter is working. If you’re using a good filter for your tap water, the water once filtered should register zero parts per million. So change your filter.
