Sunday 17th October Live at 3pm. I didn't realize how much there is out on the garden. There are plenty of flowers that didn't make the cut but will be getting their own individual stories shared. I hope you enjoyed a little look at behind the scenes too 😊 Thank you all for your continued support! ❤
Jason I am sooo impressed at the evolution of your outdoor space. You have put your heart & soul into this safe haven where you are able to nurture not just your prized plants but most importantly your mind. Thanks for being vulnerable and letting us into your world!💚💪🏾
I just want to thank you for giving me the inspiration to create my own little green space in my back garden. I myself suffer from depression and watching your videos makes me so happy and gives me tons of ideas to brighten my garden up and somewhere to sit in summer and enjoy my flowers ❤️
What a journey this is, by sharing it you really inspire! Wow, you should be proud, here's to the cloud haven. Always learn something from your videos, both from a gardening perspective and that of general wisdom. Here's to the power of plants to centre us all. Here's to you. 😄💚💚
I love your garden. It is more realistic than a lot of garden programmes and deals with 'real' problems. Your pond is beautiful , the garden at night stunning. I love the struggle bus idea. Brilliant!
I really appreciate the kind words! 🤗❤ A lot of what we see nowadays is polished off to perfection. So I want to bring a bit of realness and warmth into my content 😊 I am really glad you enjoyed it, your comment made my day! ❤
Saw you on 'This Morning' and I was amazed at what you have achieved on your balcony! It just shows if you have a positive mindset you can beat negative thoughts and concentrate on growing plants from seed. Well done!
Wonderful!! I would have so much to say but it just takes too much... I love your pond, i love seeing how all changed and grew bold! You said in the beginning we are an inspiration for you... Let me tell you it's exactly the opposite!!! Thank you for sharing your ideas and methods, it is really educational and inspiring!! Lots of love! 💚
Hi I'm new here and fell in love with your balcony straight away😂I live on the 12th floor in Central London and have a paradise as well but mainly flowering plants I love indoor plants as well😊thanks for sharing
Welcome to the family!!! ❤❤❤❤ Thank you so much Join! Join our FB group and feel free to show us pics of your balcony! It's super chilled! We have loads of balcony gardeners in and around canary wharf/Isle of dogs so you may find some new local planty friends too 🥰
Thank you! Social media tells us everything has to be perfect. That to me isn't gardening! So I am really conscious to reflect that in my work ❤ Thank you so much for watching and commenting 🥰
@@CloudGardenerUK , I like that you show that because not everything with gardening or tending to houseplants goes perfectly -- everything is not photogenic, all the time 🙂
I'm just amazed. I saw the empty balcony, then I saw what you had created. It is inspiring. I loved your Achillea, mine are yellow. Your arches and your lights, it looked lovely lit up at night. What a lovely space to sit in, all that greenery in the clouds.
My Achillea got beaten up by winds, so I had to cut a lot of it back. And it did die back. However it is sprouting green again, but I don't believe it will flower again. I am happy to say it did flower for weeks.
@@penelopehammerton2907 yes! It sounds like we were definitely in a similar boat. The flowers are beautiful and the bees went crazy over them! At least we know next year we are going to get a good show from them! 🥰
What a lovely tour! I was about to say 'bet you don't get slugs that high up' then you showed one. Swines! They get everywhere. They decimated my chrysanthemums over night in my garden. Keep up the good work. Your cloud garden looks gorgeous in the evening! A true beacon to wildlife! 😁
Thank you soo much! I'm so glad that you enjoyed the tour 🤗🥰❤ Yes these things get everywhere... sooo annoying but I'm just so happy to have wildlife and my own little ecosystem up here that I leave most of them and the caterpillars to live their best lives 🙈🙈🤣 Thank you for watching! ❤
Great video! It made me think it's almost like a love letter to your garden. Very touching! It reminded me why I love my garden and that I haven't spent as much time in my garden in it the last few weeks as I would've liked to. I think the garden got away from me and now it feels a bit too much to rein it in. I'm going to take some time tomorrow and potter around and get some headspace. Thanks!
That's exactly how it felt making that video. In all honesty.. I had forgotten what it meant to me too. I have been so caught up in the "brand" I forgot how much I have learned over the past year. Did you manage to take a bit of time and get a few bits done in your garden?
I'd never noticed that archway you have out there! Love what you've done with the place and great to hear about how much doing these videos means to you.
I hope you're well! I'm doing a separate video on the arches soon but they are pretty cool! I'm grateful to be able to share my vids with such a cool group of people ❤ Thanks for commenting 🤙🏾
Just a little info about the Canna Lily: i live in middle Italy and my mother grows them in the garden (very humid and cold during winter)... They go dormant and the leaves wilt, she cuts them low and in spring they bounce back stronger than ever! I don't really know how it would work in a pot, but i think it is a quite sturdy plant! 💪
@Giulia Thoma, I do exactly what you say your mum does. I also have a balcony and grow mine in a pot. It will stay in flower during the winter (but does not grow), which is when I cut it back. Then comes the spring and it will start growing. Leave it outside on the balcony all year round.
Beautiful👏🏾👏🏾 thanks for sharing your creative process. Love the lighting 💡💡the wildlife 🐝 the flowers🌸 just subscribed, will be coming back to watch more😉
Thank you so much. You must know this too.. These videos are a labour of love! 😂 As a creator I wanted to be transparent & share some insights into the makings of with the audience to add something a little extra to the video ❤ So glad you enjoyed it and welcome to the family ❤
Jason, have you tried a garlic spray or chill spray for the plants they will stop the aphids and greenfly, but a big thanks for showing everyone that you can have a garden where ever you live. ❤️🙏from Bristol
U have a lovely garden, idea of the arch is great in the balcony, do u have a video on how u planned to place what and in which place and how to set a balcony garden, pl. tell me, I would love to see the ideas.
Hi there.. I'll be filming some how to start a balcony guides over the next week or so as I am starting to work on a new project designing balconies for a client. I just released a "What to sow in September" video showing what you can grow this month for your balcony garden if that helps too? 🥰
Hi Jason you do not need to bring the Canna Lily indoors. She can live outside all year round. I live in Central London and have had one on my balcony for 4yrs, and have never brought her indoors. In fact this year I went to dig her up because I thought she had died, but found a tiny but and she has bounced right back, and is now growing again. Also, they stay in bloom, even during the winter when it snows. I cut it back in winter.
Thank you so much! She lost her blooms in the storm tonight 😥 hopefully she will survive the rest of the night. Did yours make new growth points or did it just continue from where it left off over the past 4 years?
@@CloudGardenerUK Sorry she lost her blooms, she will get new growth next year. Mine makes new growth points. I think they have rhizomes and she puts them out all over the pot she is in a pot that is 40cm high and 30cm at its widest point at the top. Mines is exactly the same as yours with red blooms. Keep up the good work you are doing.
@@CloudGardenerUK I am ☺️am going to try Cherokee sunset and a caramel mix. Are they hard to grow them from seed? I am trying mine from seed. I look forward to your update video ☺️☺️☺️
Hello from Dallas,Texas. Love your Balcony Garden! Have you taken a look at Bunny Guinness UA-cam video "Chelsea 2021: The Tiny Balcony Gardens". You might like it, though I would have love it more if someone could address combating high winds and privacy for the balcony.
Hiya! Yes I did see it. I also want to Chelsea and had a different take 👀 I posted my own review. I felt the same as you.. they were lovely but none of them addressed the wind, privacy, pollinators etc. So it just seemed like a beautifully designed garden in a small space.. not necessarily a "balcony" 🤷🏾♀️
