I have these in 32 slim and they're a little tight in the waist, not too much but was curious.. was yours "perfect fit" and got the 1" stretch or did you order a more relaxed size? I don't want to wear them if they won't stretch enough
@@ShaneDizzin I got mine to fit as my normal jeans do. So a bit of a relaxed fit. I probably could have gone with a 33” still been ok with a little stretch. I’ve gotten other brands that are a much stiffer denim and were a bit snug and fit well after a few wears.
@@jeffgrantMEDIA thank you for the timely response, seems I'll be okay wearing them! They're a little snug when sitting but nothing too uncomfortable and would rather have them with their fit right now than get a bigger size. Appreciate your videos!
@@AJMancaveHobbies what is your experience that warrants this response. I’m sitting here wearing these jeans right now. Very comfortable and durable jeans b
@@jeffgrantMEDIA I am not saying they are bad but if you get into japanese selvage Gusting looks inferior to them. I have some gusting products (jeans and shirts) and they are "closet warmers". If you have no experience with ANY selvage denim, Gustin may be ok. I wear GAP Selvage 50th anniversary WAY more often than my Gustin and they are WAY more superior and more fun. I found that Brave Star is actually more interesting than Gustin. Just to add that I have some experience with japanese selvage I own 20+ pairs in total (PBJs, Samurais, Momos etc.). And to your point, Jeff, I did not say Gustins are not durable or uncomfortable. 😀
@@AJMancaveHobbies GAP selvedge? I was unaware they had selvedge. I do not like GAP blushing. I always found them to be trash fast casual. clothing. I’ve never had a pair of jeans last more than a month or two. Or a shirt last longer than a season. I would put Gustin on the same playing field as Brave Star and Tellason. They are not IH, but form my experience with GAP, they are far superior
@@AJMancaveHobbies agreed. And money would not be waisted in these jeans. They are not cheap. $49 selvedge that looks like the $50 UNIQLO selvedge that I know are trash. That is money waisted in my mind. But I don’t tell anyone how to spend their money. I make my personal recommendations aftet testing. I probably have the equivalent of 6 months of wear for the average person on these jeans. And they are just now showing fading signs. No signs of them wearing out. Jaunt selvage fades.
Very nice! Looking forward to spending some time in mine.
I think you're really going to like them. They are a great jean right out of the gate. They are wearing well and feel like an old friend.

My personal opinion - do not waste your money on Gustin, guys.
