- Ukrainian Foreign Minister, Dmytro Kuleba, told critics of Ukraine’s counter offensive against Russia to “shut up” and that they’re “spitting in the face” of Ukrainian soldiers.

Look at the area of UA controlled by RU in 2022 compared to now and you’ll see who’s winning. (I’ll give you a clue, it’s not RU).

We’re not criticising the slow pace, we’re criticising its failure. And the prolonging of a stalemate war of attrition for no reason or tangible benefit other than the capture of maybe a village or two (at the cost of upwards of 10k soldiers/human lives).

The pace slowed right about the time the Ukrainian forces jumped into a trenchline they took and it turned out to be loaded with explosives which the Russians then detonated remotely. Then there were the anti tank fortifications, the minefields, the pulling back to let Uke troops walk into pre-targeted box traps that were then hit with mortars, machine gun fire and HIMARS. Going swimmingly I must say.

@@mrt445 well where do I start - how about Ukraine has managed to captured one small village and have lost over 25% of their armoured vehicles not to mention the tens of thousands of killed soldiers and they still have to cover many more villages and over 50 km of ground . Yes sir they will never win

@@kmar999 Bruh, the Russians almost had a civil war because the Wagner group which was amongst their strongest units fighting for Russia lost so many men due to not being provided suitable equipment to fight against Ukraine. Russia should have had this in the bag several months ago.
Of course, they pay money so that you will pay with your life to weaken their enemy. Which payment is easier? What makes you agree to that?

That just because they withdrew from the north, looking at the main regions of donbass, donetsk and luhansk the russians gained ground…….
Another thing is, Ukraine doesn’t take ground Russia just retreats to another defensive line and hammers them with artillery

America funded the overthrow of Victor Yanukovych in 2014 through their National Endowment for Democracy NGO, which is actually a front for the CIA to funnel money to dissidents in countries that need a regime change. That regime change and the subsequent attempt by Academi (former Blackwater) and Ukrainian neo Nazi militias to take the Russian speaking Donbass by force is what caused the escalation and eventual involvement and intervention by the commi...i mean Moscow.

I would recommend the Ukrainian government holds and election and asks if it would be better to disband svoboda nationalist paramilitaries and hard right neo Nazi youth camps. Then perhaps negotiate over Lugansk Donbass and Crimea to ensure no more ethnic cleansing of russian speaking Ukrainian people, with UN mediators to allow Russia to exit the war whilst saving face.

It’s been 3 months and all they’ve taken is a village, and yet to breach the first line properly. Slow is just another word for failure at this point.
@@AG-vb6vv It has only just begun. How long did it take for multiple countries to roll back Germany in WW1 and Germany, Italy and Japan in WW2?! Without air power, Ukraine has to move slowly and methodically.
And remember that there is a news blackout from Ukraine. As there should be. We don't have the full story.

Also, if this was WW2 which you compared it to, Ukraine would have to lose up to a million men to take the land back. Remember, the USSR lost 21 million, including up to 25-40% of their young male population. Do you want Ukraine to make the same sacrifice? Surely, they should just make peace and not make millions of widows. We don’t live in a perfect world, but least less children will grow up without a father. For the love of god and mercy, just make peace.

Since when did Ukraine and Ukrainian soil mean more than our own children in poverty the millions of unemployed and the failing NHS
Broken people can’t fix broken people.
If we fix this country we would be in a much better position to help others but we can’t be the saviour of other countries fighting over land when we have a country at its absolute limit and is about to fall apart completely.
Stop giving British taxpayers money to this war on either side. We need to fix our country first and then help.
