- Weekend trip on fully loaded (over loaded)Yamaha Tracer 700 (2020) and with my wife as passenger (after many years!). We had 3 days for our self and wanted to make again some real abroad motorcycle adventure. We decided for camping in Low Tatras mountains in Slovakia. See more in this video. Enjoy!
Tracer 7 what a great bike I had one for 6 six years from 2016 till 2022 then got Tracer 9 GT like yourself :)
Very nice video. I saw you didn't have intercom. We also drove years without intercom, but now for several years we use sena 5 and we talk a lot during motortrips. Much more then in the car 😂❤

Hi, honestly there are better and bigger bikes for rides with passenger. Max load of bike is 181kg? Tracer 7 is small for often riding with pass. You can do it, but it s not comfy. Power is OK.

Hi, I bought SH23, because they were not so big like SH36 on Tracer 700. And I like SH23 are opening on top (not on side like SH36). Of course there is less space. For ride solo, no problem. For ride with passanger, space is limited, but doable.

these are from Mamut. (treking boots, not moto boots). We did not have place to pack another big boots, therefore we dicided to take just treking ones.

Like you and other people i dont understand the 180kg max. I'm 103 kg equipped and my girlfriend 70 kg equipped. You add top case carrier 5kg and its done 😮. I mean when I could go to tracer 9 its only 13 kg more (193kg). How do you do with your wife and luggages ? I think its normal to be above this max load but legally its not. Thats a paradox ...

Thank you for greetings and your comment! The traveling comfort in Tracer 7 is bad. Especially with lagguages. You will manage this, but you will not enjoy long rides.

Thank you Jae! There is buffeting in high speeds or when is windy, but is OK. The rider comfort is much better comparing to original windscreen.

Many people criticize Tracer 9 seat... Witch bike is more friendly for the ass (: Tracer 7 or Tracer 9?
I realize that as well. But what I usually noticed, many of Tracer 9 GT criticized seat, not owners of Tracer 9. I know the seat in Tracer 9 is different, for the first look cheaper. But I have to say I did not have any issue with my seat in Tracer 9. Of course I cannot compare Tracer 9 GT, because my longest ride, was test ride 1 hour. I also has stock seat on MY2020 Tracer 700 (= Tracer 7) and no issue. An I remeber poeple who bought comfort seat for Tracer 7, then better ride with stock seat. Back to your question, which bike is freindly to ass. For both standart versions 7/ 9 (w/o GT) both are friendly. Just in Tracer 9 there is more space for whole body (its bigger bike).
Nice video! I see you've mounted the Shad SH23 side cases, how are your experience with them? I have a tracer 700 too and im doubting between that model and the bigger SH36...
I decided for 23l option, because I like they are opened from the top. Other versions (SH35, 36) are opened from sides. Clear, SH36 are bigger. The question is how much staff you want to take with you. When I buy again top case, I buy 50l version. Now I know it looks also good. I plan short video about that. Back to the SH23, I am satisfied with them and they do not make bike too big.
how does the bike handle up with 2? do you feel like she needs more power? what about the passenger confort?

Hi Diogo! I do not think that Tracer 7 has lack of power when ride with passanger. Power is not a problem. But you will recognize as weakness braking with passenger. My wife did not say this was bad regarding to comfort, but she does not ride often with me. :-) For more often riding with passenger I would consider bigger (size) bike.
Do you have the stock rear suspension on the bike?
Does it feel good enough for two people and luggage?
I have stock one. I did not realize to be on limit, but I rode carefully. Question is also what is load in your case. We have 160kg + helmets+clothes + approx. 30kg, lagguages. Quite lot.
@@venax2 Same load, about 160Kg persons + 30Kg luggage. At the moment i'm driving a XSR700 (2016) but i want to get an Tracer 7 GT because the rear shock isnt up to the task of handling two persons. i heard they upgraded the rear shock on the new tracer 7 GT, therefor i want to know if its any good???

Did you adjust the suspension for this trip?
Yes, I did. Just rear suspension to hardest position. But I did not adjust front fork factory setup.
nevím jestli je problém dát do videa titulky v rodném jazyku, když už jezdíš po československu, aby tomu každý rozuměl, nebo aby aspoň věděl kam a kde zrovna jedeš, nebo je to nějaký echt efekt.......( tím nedávám najevo, že bych tomu nerozuměl nebo si to neuměl přeložit, ale každý to neumí). Buď to neumím, ale mě ty tilulky nejdou vypnout, u ostatních videí to v nastavení jde. Každopádně když už ingliš, tak ať si může potenciální divák vybrat. Nebo to vypnout.
Díky za názor. Cílím na co nejširší skupinu lidí, proto EN titulky. Zajímavá myšlenka s vypínatelnými titulky, zvážím pro další tvorbu.
@@venax2 no já tedy nevím, ale v aplikaci UA-cam kde jsou analýzy si můžeš i dohledat z které země a v jakých procentech té diváci sledují. U mě je to 3 procenta Slováků kteří nám i rozumí a zbytek Česko. Nemyslím si že to bude u tebe jiné. Ale každého věc, ať se daří👍

I was just watching this video from Poland and english titulky were very useful for me. We love to travel to Czech and Slovakia. Movies are this are very useful for us to feel what its like to travel to our southern neighbours.

It is good for long routes?
if you suggest ride solo, yes it is. The issue ride with passenger is not power, but small size of the bike (comfort at the end).

Ahoj Matej, na zem dosáhnu celkem v poho. Dosáhnu i z Tracer 9, který je vyšší. Na jízdu ve 2 se mi zdá Tracer 7 malá, motorově dostatečná, ale rozměrově prostě malá. Delší cesta se dá zvládnout, ale nebude to prostě komfortní. Má nosnost jen 181kg, takže ve dvou a s plnou bagáží jsme ji trošku přetížili :-) Plexi chce koupit to cestovní, to originální stojí za starou belu. Pro jízdu sólo, plně dostačující.

@@keithd87 Maybe U R right. U can ask some seat manufacturer for evaluation if they can made lower seat for you. With combination with some higher boots it can works. But its a risk and solution only for case U need this bike for 300% :-) I have also difficulties due to my height., but I can imagine your situation is even worst. Anyway keep calm and ride! I currently have a Benelli TRK 502 which is about 235kg wet. Would i feel a considerable difference in power and weight with the Tracer 7 GT. I am considering this as my next motorcycle.
Hi, I never rode TRK, but I saw it in show room. TRK is definitely bigger and heavier bike. In other hand Tracer 7 has about 25PS more and CP2 engine you will love! This engine is excellent, but you should not affraid of. If you wish ride easily, no problem, if you wish ride hard, no problem! I think Tracer 7 is over all better bike and you will have more fun on him. There is only 1 weak point of T7 you should consider = size. If you are taller (180cm or more) or if you plan to ride often with passenger, Tracer 7 is simply small and you will think (like I) about upgrade soon.

Fully agree with you Bablu. But anyway, simply 181kg max.load for Tracer is not enough for traveling rider + passenger :-(
Áno presne preto sa tracer u mňa ohrial 2 mesiace proste je to prcek a na cestovanie v dvojici normálnych ľudí nie vychrtlin s bagazou to naozaj moc nieje.
@@davidmecko9818 možná nějací 2 lehcí hubení lidi, bohužel to není můj případ :-)
No they just nead a bigger bike Tracer 9 or maybe bmw GS ;)
