Outstanding! OP is in the top 5 piano players of all time! Solid bass work to enjoy as well.
For me, Peterson with Ray Brown and Ed Thigpen are the last word on everything. Period. I like Pederson, too.

And the Oscar goes to...

I remember some dude sent me an mp3 of this track when I was 16, over mIRC.. That was way back in 1999/2000. Have been a fan of Oscar Peterson ever since.
This guy was super human at the piano.
Legendary Concert!! OP & two Bassists at Montreux.
Oscar is the man.

Love Ray
Love NHOP ♥️
Oscar Peterson had a hard time when Ray Brown left the trio, and then came NHØP. Never realized they once played all together.
GRANDIOSO!!!!!!!
I'm not surprised his hot, the bassists were terrific too!
Oscar is the maestro.
Sorry I started somewhere between.. ofcourse.NHOP was the first soloist
Seems like God gave Oscar more talent and drive than 500 humans. This is crazy ridiculous. This is piano at a higher level than I've ever heard.
You need to checkout Art Tatum and Erroll Garner. The two pianist that people put above Oscar Peterson. That's real talk, they are unbelievable! On a sidebar check out Bud Powell, he's nice too!
You might want to check out Monty Alexander too. He kicks ass big time.
