I love the old gemmy inflatables. They were so cool as they had great designs, lots of light, movement/animation, and I love those skulls that were on a lot of the older ones.

Just got back into collecting inflatables and came across this video, seeing this inflatable again brought back so many memories. 2000s/ early 2010 inflatables were just different. Nowadays at places like Lowe’s we get 20 cheap fan inflatables and 4 base fan inflatables. And when we do get base fans there all licensed and not original characters. I remember in 2019 they remade the organ, the train, and the vampire in coffin and in 2021 we got the pop goes the evil clown and they haven’t done anything since. Even if we get 2-3 remakes of inflatables from years ago if would be absolutely perfect. But I guess all we can do for now is wish…

Fun fact: There is a prop version of this inflatable sold in 2008 that still has MMVIII on the tombstone.
