Jakob excellent as always - question;- is there anyway the file structure for ALBUMS be duplicated on a NAS? The reason I ask is if I had two laptops both would both laptops to have the same album structure?

Hi Michael, thank you for your question. I am sorry, but I am not 100% sure. I don't have much expirience with NAS. But I can't imagine why you couldn't replicate it there too!?

Hi Jakub ... a really helpful tutorial! Food for thought :) You explained moving images from the various folders when selecting those to be editied. But I didn't understand where you put your edited image. The ones being moved I assume are RAW/DNG files/images .... the edited ones would be JPG, and therefore a "different" image to the original/source images. Thank you! Andrew :)

Hi Andrew, I agree with your point. Exported images are usually in JPG format. I have a fixed folder structure that I use every year. I create a main folder with the year's name, such as "2024". Inside the main folder, I have subfolders named according to the location or project they contain. For instance, if I photograph London three times in 2024, I will save all the images in a "London" subfolder inside the "2024" main folder. To easily access the images in the future, I include the "2024" main folder in the folders, just like I do with the RAW files.

Whenever I have added anymore than, say, 15 images Neo slows right down? I have a pretty high spec window laptop

I find it very strange that you're having issues with only 15 images. As you may have seen in the video, I have added several thousands without any problem. To troubleshoot, here are a few things to check:
      - Do you have enough free space on the hard drive where the software and catalog are stored? Make sure you have enough gigabytes available.
      - Check the reading and writing speed of the hard drive where you store your photos.
      - Ensure that there is enough space available on the hard drive where your photos are stored.
