+)For those who leave comments to me, We are still at war. Under the constitution of the Republic of Korea, North Korea is definitely the enemy. They continue to launch missiles and threaten the world with nuclear weapons. I hope 'foreigners who live on the other side of the globe and say North Korea is not an enemy even though they don't know much about Korea's situation' shut up. please

🟥[Fact Check - History of KOREA(KOGURYEO or KORYEO or SHILLA)] After Gojoseon, there were 3 Dynasties divided on Korean peninsula: Koguryeo, Baekje, and Shilla. Koguryeo was destroyed by Shilla on the Korean Peninsula: By Shilla Dynasty's suggestion, Tang Dynasty of the central China sent reinforcements, and Koguryeo was perished by the Shilla-Tang allied forces, so then Koguryeo was absorbed by Shilla. In the end, Shilla ultimately unified the 3 Dynasties and the Korean Peninsula was ruled by the Unified Shilla. The capital of Koguryeo was Pyongyang, and afterwards, Pyongyang was the territory of the Unified Shilla.
The Unified Shilla Empire used the term "Khan" for emperor like the Mongolian’s Yuan Dynasty used the same term and the emperor of Shilla called himself "Marip-Khan" and it was an empire on equal status to Tang Dynasty of China.
Following Unified Shilla Empire, there was internal Dynasty transition and Koryeo Empire emerged, and as its name implies, Koryeo(KOREA in English) was a country that succeeded Koguryeo.
Following Balhae Dynasty in the northeast was founded by part of the Koguryeo refugees, afterwards the so-called Manchurians (former Koguryeo people) established the Qing Empire in the northeast, and the Koryeo people established the Koryeo Empire in the southeast.
The Qing Dynasty, the empire of the Manchurians invaded and destroyed the Ming Dynasty of the Han Chinese in the central China and established the Qing Dynasty on the heart of China.
Manchurians,Mongolians, and Koreans are originally the same ethnicity of the northeast(Dongyi), called the Altai-Mongolian, using the Altai-Mongolian transformed languages, which is totally different language to the Chinese language.

Poor Koreans, your ancestors are Silla and Baekje, these small countries have always been at the southern tip of the peninsula, and have never left the peninsula, just like a hermit crab that found a shell, (of course under the coercion of external forces Some Koreans were once forced to relocate)
The Chinese established the Qin Dynasty, Han Dynasty, Tang Dynasty, Ming Dynasty, these great empires in history, this does not include some separatist regimes,
And what about the Koreans? never dominated the destiny of their own nation,
Goguryeo invaded the Korean peninsula, and the poor Silla people turned to the Tang Empire for help. The Tang Empire eliminated Goguryeo to prevent the Koreans from being colonized by the Goguryeo people. The Tang Empire sent troops to the peninsula and drove away the Japanese. This is the Battle of Baijiangkou.
During the Ming Dynasty, poor Koreans were invaded by Japan, and the Ming Empire sent troops to resist the Japanese attack, preventing Koreans from becoming Japanese slaves.
The northern tip of the Korean peninsula has always been the territory of the Chinese people in history. The four prefectures of the Han Dynasty in the Han Dynasty, the Andong Protectorate in the Tang Dynasty, and a large number of documents and tombs of the Han Dynasty unearthed in Pyongyang are all left by the Chinese. ,
The common people in ancient Korea didn’t even have written words. Their kings spoke Chinese and used Chinese characters for communication and writing. The low-level Koreans lived like pigs and dogs.
The king created the current Korean script for the convenience of communication among the lower-level Koreans --------- Hunmin Jeong-eum
Poor Koreans, the Mongols invaded the Korean peninsula nine times, raped your women, and killed your ancestors. Now Koreans look a little like Mongols, which is the result of the Mongols’ invasion.
The Japanese colonized you and asked you to write Japanese and give Japanese names, and you still follow the same.
In addition, let me tell you that Li Chenggui, the founder of Lee's Joseon Dynasty, is Chinese, you can take a look at related papers.
You should be a low-level Korean. Because of the humble history of your ancestors, you have extreme low self-esteem and paranoia. This is the national character of ordinary Koreans.
In the future, South Korea still cannot control its own destiny. Your position and your national character determine this.

You know when i went to Uzbekistan, there is notable Korean community over there. They are called the Koryo Saram, descendants of the Koreans who fled Korea during the Japanese invasion. When i asked them if they agree with unification. They all are with Unification on their ancestral homeland, they say it saddens them seeing their homeland as one of the hotbeds of conflicts in the world today.

When Gojong replaced Cheoljong, he didn't exactly rule as leader yet. From his coronation until 1873, the nation was ruled by his father, who earned the title "Daewongun" (Noble Regent or Prince). That's because when Gojong was first placed into power, he was only 11 years old. When he reached the proper age in 1873, that's where his rule truly began.

    1. Burned away in the war against the Chinese dynasty or the northern nomads.
    2. During the war with Japan (1592), the palace burned and the old portraits were almost lost.
    3. As the building that was stored during the Korean War(1950) was burned, portraits after 1592 were almost burned out.

You might want to have a look at everything happening in the northern border regions before Joseon. There's quite a bit of medieval warfare between different kingdoms happening in there. These are the exact parallels for how European kingdoms established their power and wealth in the middle ages.
Is Gogoryeo not an empire? The manchu people eventually got tied into the Chinese empire, but before then, they were one of the biggest ethnic groups in that whole region (now part of Manchuria in China.)
There is no people in history who became a civilization (cities, class structure, law, government, etc.) who never invaded another nation. None.
But yes, due to its geographic position on a peninsula off of China, Korea has been more hemmed in than most.

Korea and China have been good friends since ancient times. However, China destroyed a huge amount of valuable cultural assets in the Cultural Revolution under Mao Zedong. So China destroyed the cultural heritage left by its ancestors, so there are not many now. Recently, China is jealous of the popularity of Korean k-pop and is trying to turn many Korean cultural heritages and history into Chinese history. And China is the country with the most Han ethnic groups, but China has a large territory and many Chinese minorities live in the area where Korea's old historical state used to be, so if those minorities are liberated from China, China loses a lot of territory. So there is a political reason why the Chinese government wants to incorporate the culture or geography of minorities into their wives to prevent their liberation.

As an elderly Chinese, I have witnessed a lot of history. Looking back on history in my old age, I really feel ironic. North Korea used to represent the regime of the Anti-Japanese War and even helped the Chinese army fight against Japan in China. South Korea was a puppet regime representing Japanese colonization. Before the Korean War, North Korea's economy was stronger than South Korea. But all this is meaningless. Because of the blockade, North Korea has been abandoned by the world and has become a backward region. Japan, the defeated country in World War II, has become the most steadfast ally of the United States in East Asia, and is still a powerful country in East Asia. Although South Korea is rich, in fact, its destiny is still controlled by the United States, which is no different from the history of Korea being controlled by China and Japan in the past (Koreans will not admit this view). This ending is very embarrassing. After World War II, China no longer has the intention to dominate East Asia. It just wants to be richer and no longer be invaded by the West and Japan. The division problems in East Asia were caused by Westerners in the past. I hope that Korea can be unified in the future, and China can also be unified. If China, Japan and Korea can give up their hatred and unite, East Asia will be the strongest in the world, and Westerners cannot control East Asia at all.

😂 Your comment goes to show that age doesn't bring wisdom. And Chinese people like you are the exact reason why Asia is fragmented. So many lies and falsehoods and warped views of things I'm not gonna bother rebutting all of them. Republic of Korea was fiercely anti Japanese and did not restore relations with Japan until decades later. If any thing, Mao and the subsequent PRC government was more favorable to Japan. While you point to the US and USSR for causing division, you convinently leave out China's enormous responsibility which is disingenuous. China's expansionist behavior suggests that it is not just interested in "being rich". That is actually a better description of the US and the West, though you would not agree as a Chinese that wallow in exaggerated victimhood. Your fate is also affected by the US. Just have a look at your country after the initiation of trade wars.

Goguryeo, Baekje, and Silla were able to understand each other's languages because they had exchanges and interactions. In fact, there's a record of talking to each other and exchanging documents in recorded data. Of course, there could have been regional dialect differences in everyday conversations, but it is assumed that there were no major linguistic understanding problems with each other. There are many traces of Goguryeo in modern Korean and geographical names.
According to a study by American linguist Alexander Bobin, Goguryeo and Korean are the same linguistic system because there are many elements found in Korean in the Buyeo language family. Ancient Chinese history books even explained that the languages of Buyeo, including Goguryeo, were distinguished from the Tungus language of the Malgal family, and that Goguryeo and Baekje languages were interconnected. It is written in a modified Chinese character written on the tomb monument of King Gwanggaeto, indicating that the structure of the word order was similar to that of Korean. Baekje language rhetoric was written on the wooden inscription excavated from Mireuksa Temple Site, which is similar to Silla and modern Korean, raising the possibility that Goguryeo language, which was said to be the same as Silla language. Thus, Goguryeo, Baekje, and Silla had regional dialect differences, but the words were similar, fused, and became the ancestral language of modern Korean.

This is a very very impressive video, especially the music in this video does represent the traditional Korean emotion so called "han"(한 in korean). I wonder how and where you got this music. And the historical facts are quite accurate too , i think.

Hi, thank you very much ^^ I love Korean history due to its historical/ geographical identities to Vietnam and also because of famous Korean movies like The Admiral: Roaring Currents (명량) and The Great Battle (안시성), so that's why I took very seriously time and effort on making video and music represent Korean history, based on other videos and Wikipedia.
The music are in the video description, and they came from Soundcloud, where all hidden and talented musician/singer publish their songs for free. You would be more impressed listening music there.

@大漢將軍小超 Its an era before the identity of South Korea and North Korea was created. As you said, Ming was the nominal suzerain of the Joseon Dynasty. Also, the relationship between the two countries was not that good at first. And the records of the Joseon Dynasty are well preserved.

    • @IBO_Nogay
      @IBO_Nogay 2 роки тому

@大漢將軍小超 Yes, the clothes are from the 鮮卑 people. It's not the origin of Korea. What I wonder is the difference between South Korea and North Korea at that time? Do you mean the difference in interpretation of modern times? To say that, North Korea is tougher than we are. Especially in ancient history, history distortion is evident.
