The blue birds of happiness were made in a small town near me here in Northwest Arkansas for practically my whole life at a place called Terra Studios. I went on many school field trips to watch them make these. They have retired making them due to the impact glass blowing does to the environment. The sad end to a local tradition. Okay there was your history lesson for the day! LOL Love your videos!
I could watch you work all day! You have a way with everything you do! God has blessed you greatly! That sunflower canister is gorgeous! Finally found me some polycrylic this weekend! Wonderful job on everything!
Now that I found you I’ve been binge watching you. It’s incredible what you do. It would be helpful to know what your stuff actually sells for. I’ve always wanted to do what you do but I always thought I couldn’t make a go of it. Seems like just when I’m thinking “OMG no no no you’ve gone too far” 30 seconds later I’m like ‘oh it’s so beautiful.” Keep up the good work!
All your projects turned out great, your so clever at your ideas. That watering can looked so cute after but all time favorite was … you guessed it, the sunflower crock. I was get a tad nervous I’m the beginning. It turned out so beautiful. ( love those IOD molds) ♥️♥️😊👍👍👍
That looks like Temptations. They are seen alot on QVC. They have serving, baking and even dishes that all have that design in different colors. That color looks like what they call "spice."
Holy moly look at that sunflower! I just love it! The waxes at the end were perfect! When you broke out the patinas I was like YES! lol How absolutely gorgeous, Yvonne! I love your passion for creating, and you truly have an eye for what each piece needs. Exceptional work, my friend!!!! I'm beyond inspired by you.
That laat crock was awesome. You are a true artist, and I am very impressed with your techniques. So glad you are adding additional colors that are exciting. Keep up the good work with your creativity, your finds, decor paintings, furniture refinishing and videos. You and Chris are an awesome team.
Fun haul, Yvonne! Fish: could be a yarn dispenser. Measuring cups have measuring spoons on the handles! Use vaseline on the marble before you spray the metal hanger (I LEARNED THAT FROM YOU). Grow box: here in CA it would make a nice home for black widow spiders. Love the feet on the lanterns! Water can: reminds me of the oil can in the Wizard of Oz. Love Glen! He's beautiful, but I thought you only did gingers. Happily surprised! Sunflower crock is gorgeous!
Hi Yvonne ~ love that chunky Finial ! I think the amount of crackle was just right and then your sanding. You got the touch for making things looks so wonderful! Then those Praying Hands…how beautiful in that color. That Grow Wood Box is so pretty with those patinas! You work so much with the Patinas that you have mastered the technique for “ just right”….I’m still scared of them! LOL!!!! You can show Chris’ s tools …. I love seeing them. It always makes me think of my Dad, especially the older wood ones ! I agree with you about displaying them…but it is HIS collection . Oh yes to the Old Hand Pump… love those. Either a persons loves old items or they don’t ! 😁 Hugs your way ! 🌞🌞💛💛🌞🌞
I’m sure there is a reason, but I really miss you putting the prizes on these items that you do. As some one who is new to all of this, it was very helpful. Love your videos! I have learned so much! Thank you!
Just FYI! Quilters are now using those irons to press their seams. I believe they iron with a regular iron and put the cast iron on the warm seam for a Christ seam. I have quilting friends who I thrift with.
OH My Goodness Yvonne it’s So Hard to Pick a Favourite. I just loved the Rain Gage the washboard was Awesome. Just loved the Grow Box Beautiful patina 👍loved the watering can 👍also ❤️❤️ the crock with the Sunflower just Beautiful! Have an Awesome day 😊
The black box with drawers I believe is used for gems stones, beads for jewelers or findings, it also could be used for small electrical parts for sodering on to circuit boards, or anything ones heart desires to collect and keep sorted like stamps or buttons, the list could go on, but it's some sort of sorting box, it may of came with items in it when it was originally bought hence the numbers!
Hi Yvonne...I love that old well pump..I was given a taller one from my friend's father's farm...I have moved it so many times..heavy but never could leave it behind..last spring I did run tubing through it and I used an old barrel..some enamelware..an old drinking ladel and a pump...it is wonderful to hear the water and the birds love it..I troughed it with the enamelware basins so the birds can bathe ...oh yes..my labs sneak a drink too..lol..sorry this is so long but I had to share .take care
Everything turned out so beautiful but the sunflower crock was amazing. It was fun to watch that evolve, there was a point toward the beginning when I was wondering how that was possibly going to look good 😂 but it took a turn for the better and in the end looked great. Thanks for another great video.
You could use pump or spray bottles and glass jars with your black transfers to display with the washboards in a basket or tray. Fun laundry wood display. 🤩🤩🤩🤩
Yes, love watching and hearing how you develop the techniques because all the pieces look soooo much more attractive when you have completed the makeover! What a fantastic transformation on the watering can!
I don’t know if I can pick just one, the rain gauge was so cute, I loved the grow box but that sunflower crock was gorgeous. Your work is beautiful and definitely inspiring 😍😍
WOW...Everything you make over or you restore IS soooo BEAUTIFUL!!! What a great AWESOME job you Do! Every DIY I have seen on UA-cam. Your DIYS are one of the best I ever seen. ❤
I really really enjoy your videos! It is the wee hours of the morning and i am so inspired that i pulled out a project and my paint and am creating whilst watching you and the cool music you have wirh your videos. Thank you!
What a way to start the day ! Lying here in bed with my purring cat ( who woke me up at 6.40🐈 ) watching you create wilst everyone else is still asleep . Everything turnt out wonderful ,like always .
The Bluebirds are from Leo Ward at Terra Studios in Northwest Arkansas. My best friend took me there on one of my visits. Beautiful place to visit and I got to see them being hand blown. They also make the Pink bird of Hope.
Sorry fell asleep 1/2 way through then had to go back and watch what I missed. Being in ICU for 8 days has drained me. Butch will have to go on dialysis because they put contrast dye in him 4 times. Thanks for the prayers. Still there.
I had a sea gull on one of those blocks years ago, like the road runner. Went to an antique mall in Edinburgh In this week end. Soo much stuff. You would love it That frow box would be nice for seeds if you put something in the bottom. The box after that would be great for coffee pods. Yes please. 🌻 Sunflower item turned out sooo cute.
I find a dremel sander works well and saves a lot of elbow grease and precious time. I hardly ever see crafters using dremels which used to be so popular.
Yvonne I loved the glass washboard project. I love washboards. I was glad to see some of the green paint on the glass. It tells the next owner the original color.
I love watching your flips, but I have to admit, I had a hard time focusing after Glenn showed up! 😻OMG he is absolutely beautiful! I had a cat named Benny (RIP ❤️), and she is his twin!
Dad had a hard plastic bin like yours but unnumbered. He used it for small hardware like various types/sizes of screws. I made a lazy Susan with 2 Dollar Tree cake pans and marbles with a piece of scrap wood for the top. Not pretty but it works until I find a real one
I love how the sun flower. I was confused at first cause it was not what I thought it was going to turn out. When you put the waxes on I loved it. Love it
Absolutely it's the sunflower piece. I'm sure I've watched this too late to buy it though. Very interesting process though. I'm thinking of trying it myself.
I thought you were crazy the way you were painting the sunflower but it turned out beautiful!!!

Thank you for your reply. Interesting
Thanks for sharing! Very interesting
Temp-tations measuring cups! Great find!
I could watch you work all day! You have a way with everything you do! God has blessed you greatly! That sunflower canister is gorgeous! Finally found me some polycrylic this weekend! Wonderful job on everything!
I think the watering can is actually an olive oil decanter.
Oh.. makes since
I agree
The box with the multi-separate squares is a storage box for slides. The little "watering can" is an oil can for Olive oil.
I believe your measuring scoops are more of the temptations from QVC. Not positive but I think so.
The way you remade the glass washboard with chippy paint and stencil is just perfect! Yep, new colors and techniques indeed!

Thank you for sharing that 💝
Oh my goodness that gardening box is a jewel!
Thank you
The motto of your sunflower makeover should be, "trust the process". Wow! I absolutely loved the final result!!
Happy Easter!
Thank you
I really enjoy listening to and watching you transform your finds….you are so enthusiastic!!!! Brightens my day and I learn so much😍
The praying hands turned out stunning!
Thank you
Very nice, no need to apologize for the length of the video, you’re fun to watch.
All your projects turned out great, your so clever at your ideas. That watering can looked so cute after but all time favorite was … you guessed it, the sunflower crock. I was get a tad nervous I’m the beginning.

Those measuring cups handles are also measuring spoons! Great haul!

Oh my, I had to rewind to see that detail! Yes, they are 😊 I've not seen any like that.

I love your passion for creating, and you truly have an eye for what each piece needs. Exceptional work, my friend!!!! I'm beyond inspired by you.
Loved all of them! The Sunflower is my favorite! ✝️💟

Everything turned out so pretty. I especially love the praying hands.
Oh my! I know you really had to work at it, but the sunflower crock/canister turned out just GORGEOUS 💗💗
I am trying to absorb all of these new techniques. One day I may need them! I absolutely love the praying hands!

Love your kitty. He’s beautiful. Your hall was great
All beautiful but I especially like the washboard...I never saw one with a glass scrubbing board...just gorgeous
The sunflower was so beautiful! I hope you sign and date your recreated items!!
Thank you

It took me a minute to realize the handles on the measuring cups are measuring spoons! Cute!

That sunflower took my breath away.xo
Ginger Chick, I love that sunflower jar! Absolutely beautiful well done!

Yes, love watching and hearing how you develop the techniques because all the pieces look soooo much more attractive when you have completed the makeover! What a fantastic transformation on the watering can!
I would use the box with drawers and compartments for earrings and rings. I'd doll it up to set on a dresser.
I don’t know if I can pick just one, the rain gauge was so cute, I loved the grow box but that sunflower crock was gorgeous. Your work is beautiful and definitely inspiring 😍😍
Aww.. thank you

I have seen that little “ watering can “ with olive oil in. You collect some great things and upcycle them beautifully.
I loved them all, but that sunflower canister was my favorite!
The Bluebirds are from Leo Ward at Terra Studios in Northwest Arkansas. My best friend took me there on one of my visits. Beautiful place to visit and I got to see them being hand blown. They also make the Pink bird of Hope.
You really are a great teacher... I also love the piano music...and instrumentals...thanks for the inspiration 🎨
Aww.. thank you for noticing 💕
I love the sunflower crock the color is fabulous
I loved it all, but that last one with the sunflower was amazing.
Sorry fell asleep 1/2 way through then had to go back and watch what I missed. Being in ICU for 8 days has drained me. Butch will have to go on dialysis because they put contrast dye in him 4 times. Thanks for the prayers. Still there.
The sunflower vase is ahhmazing!!!!!

Beautiful as usual! Love your attitude and channel.
Everything beautiful as always and done with your usual care and talent.
Yvonne I'm loving the weekly haul and makeover videos. Keep them coming!
I loved watching you work your magic with the sunflower crock! As usual..loved your video!
Love the sunflower
First of all … I want your hair!!! It’s gorgeous 😉 I love your finds … you have a great eye!
The 3 drawer thingy, you pulled out one of the drawers that looked like cubes. You could use that drawer for earrings . Could also be used for crafts.
I find a dremel sander works well and saves a lot of elbow grease and precious time. I hardly ever see crafters using dremels which used to be so popular.
Loving the improvement on the technique of your skills 🙌🏽🙌🏽
All the projects turned out 👍. The music was exceptionally beautiful in this video.
Hey Theresa
Great finds. The old pump would make a beautiful water display.
We’re hoping so. We’ll share when we get it set up.
@@GingerChickRehab Run hose up through it and let it come out. It would look like it’s running out of pump. A small circulating pump would work.
Your patina skills are definitely on point!😍.
The sunflower crock is wonderful 🌻 you give me so much inspiration !
I use the old heavy irons as "bookends" for fabric in my quilt studio.
Awesome job on all,but sunflower and wood piece was my fav!
The sunflower on the canister turned out beautiful.
I always look forward to your videos and seeing what you find and fix up for resale!!!
Love the garden box and the canister. Very pretty.
The scoops and measuring cups look like HSNs Temptations designs. You are so interesting to watch. You inspire me.
Those measuring spoons look like the “Expressions” from QVC. GOOD SET!
I love all the new techniques and new colors you are experimenting with.
Those scoops are temptations
Yvonne I loved the glass washboard project. I love washboards. I was glad to see some of the green paint on the glass. It tells the next owner the original color.
Liked the trick with the packing tape and the stamps👍👍👍
I do love your birdhouses! You are so talented! I’m in NC, been here my whole life and you sound like you grew up here too! Love your southern draw!
Wow!!! I can't choose a favorite!!! You. Are. Awesome!!!
The sunflower vase is gorgeous!!
I love watching your flips, but I have to admit, I had a hard time focusing after Glenn showed up! 😻OMG he is absolutely beautiful! I had a cat named Benny (RIP ❤️), and she is his twin!
I always love your makeovers...you do such an amazing job ! My favorite was the wash board, all came out so pretty
Everything looks great!!
Dad had a hard plastic bin like yours but unnumbered. He used it for small hardware like various types/sizes of screws.
I made a lazy Susan with 2 Dollar Tree cake pans and marbles with a piece of scrap wood for the top. Not pretty but it works until I find a real one

The sunflower turned out great! I am impressed by the use of the blue. It made real depth to the end product.
Love the measuring cups with the measuring spoon handles!!
Your hair is gorgeous! I loved the flower vase 😎
