Sorry not about the carpet cleaner, just need advice as nilfisk customer service wont help me because its not there lance. I got a nilfisk 140 It works fine with my stubby gun until I attach my snowfoam lance. It pulses like there isn't enough water going through but works without it on. I have changed the outside tap because I thought it might be the water pressure but still happening.
Picked up a numatic carpet cleaner off ebay for £56, already paid for itself. That's a lot of money for the puzzi, for the the £840 I would expect a charger and a battery included. Thanks for the upload as always.
The concept is good and would have an advantage sometimes! But seeing as you’ve gotta get an extension cord out for the Hoover anyway! You might as well stick to the 240v powered version.
It's a good idea for valeters wanting to get away from using a generator from the view point of noise pollution and I must say with ever increasing prices of fuel, if they do a range for vac, pressure washer aswell I would most certainly give them a try, great video dave.
Well, you’re right and not.. if you’re a pro and if you have a few jobs per day ya need at least two sets of batteries.. you need to charge it somewhere as well.. and when you compare technicals with an puzzi 8/1 you notice thats its just not worth that money at all…
Great video Dave Editing and filming as always is on point! I have the 1/10 and at £1180 will be keeping the main plug! Having said that after using a cordless Flex polisher for over a year, I would struggle to go back to a cable. But the price difference between the cable/cordless flex was not as steep.
Hi dave great video, I like the idea of a battery powered carpet extractor but it's just too expensive, a lot of people will be sticking with the good old plug in machines, hopefully it won't be too long before they come down in price
Hi dave. would say it would be great for people like yourself in tje detailing industry to purchase as you will be using it on a daily. for me i will be sticking to my spot clean pro. keep the content rolling 🤩
Hi Dave. A great review of a very expensive bit of kit. I have a George, and thats plenty good enough for me. Every other tool I own has a power lead, so I'm not going to rush out for a cordless machine that will only give one wash on a full battery. I am looking at cordless polishing machines though. Cheers mate.
I'll stick with the extension lead for now just think it's way to much especially if got buy couple of batteries looking forward to the warmer months so can get back to seeing you cleaning the nice motors & your excellent work. Keep up your great work & informative channel 😁🍺
Thanks Dave for the lovely review, it seams little bit more on tge expensive side if you had to add all the extras...but overall that is a brilliant idea for a brilliant machine wouldn't mind to have one.
To be honest you might as well get a battery powered wet vac and convert it to a extractor. Just makes sense. And it’s not heated either. Who would pay that much for a extractor without heat? You might as well just get the mytee 8070 for that price. JS
Theres only few in the UK right now so think they mainly showcasing the future and what they can do so its interesting to see the idea when it becomes the norm. Hopefully they come down in price to £500 one day
Very cool to say the least, but ouch that's pricey. I'd be afraid to see the cost in the US market, more companies need to produce more comparable and or close to this. Another great one, thank you
I own a George which I keep at one location. I also have a Karcher Puzzi 10/1. The Karcher is much better in my opinion. The motor on my George went due to moisture getting into the motor because of wet vac extraction. I had the George repaired, but I strictly use it for dry vacuuming now. The Karcher is my go to for wet vac jobs now.
I did have a george But i broke it due to my own fault. I since then got a charles which is identical without the sprayer so i use a 5 litre pump sprayer for fabrics
Hi I'm thinking about starting a mobile detailing business but to start I'll need to use the customers water and electricity how do I go about this do they need to be home or?
Thank you for the video Dave. I like the Idea as it must be so convenient, but the cost, specifically the battery and charger, is just too much. No doubt they will become cheaper in time. Keep up the good work mate 👍.
Excellent video very informative. I would not be buying this. I do use a cordless extractor. I currently use the Vax spotless go. It could do with more power but it defiantly gets the job done and it cost me under £100.
I think its an attempt to get exposure for the brand overall instead of being something that everyone would use. I love the idea of it though but its going to reach out to a handful of people
That's a bloody shocking price 😂 I'm sorry but it's not worth justifying that sort of money...if your looking for a good wetvac on a budget the best to get is the bristle spot pro it's around the £150-200 new with everything you'll need to start! I've used mine for 2 years valeting and around the house ect and it's never failed to disappoint me 👍
Hi mate, sorry not been around much, just to let you and your Dad know, my wife is slowly recovering from her 18 month battle with cancer, but yesterday got covid, 🙈 it seems to be one thing after another, we love going to Cornwall st ives and if i had an electric car it would take us a week to get there 😂, our eldest daughter graduated with a first last year in musical theatre and has been auditioning to get in west end or cruise ships, and our youngest daughter is now in her second year and going to America in June for a year in industry as part of her course, so iv been mum and dad and all i wish for is a for them to be happy and healthy, and just please give us a break 🙏
@@andrewsmith7636 Hello Andrew. I'm pleased she's getting better. Well apart from the dreaded virus. I can't imagine the stress you must be going through right now mate. I have the 10/1 it's fantastic..what are karcher playing at...this is a rip off tbh..its like buying a car then being told the wheels and engine are extra lol
Sounds like it only makes sense for a pro like yourself with the price pal? On the plus side its good you didn't notice any loss of power tho as I have battery powered garden equipment and the loss of power is huge!!! Eventually most things will go battery powered I think pal.
Just as with EVs it's the cost of the battery's and their "range" which kills the enjoyment factor... That battery looks like it could crack 3 toes if you dropped it on your foot.
Batterypowered extractors are pointless... you got the bulky watertank, dirty and clean water sitting on the floor anyhow. And it's not your doing the work in the middle of nowhere... a couch or a car is not really in some wall socket-free zone to say the least ;-)
I mean wow...that price 🙃 I'm pretty sure if this hadn't been sent to you....you wouldn't of bought one because as you say there's much cheaper options. Delete one thing a plug n cord...makes another problem charging batteries/run time/price of the unit/batteries and charger 🙄 so
I never got sent this to keep!!! I said in the video I wanted to be the first in the UK to try this out because it's an interesting topic for a video (that's it) there is no way in a million years would I recommend this to anyone wish people would just pay attention.
I stopped watching at "£1,140" - for a machine with a max 35 minute run time I'd need AT LEAST 2 batteries to get through a day's work so that's me up to £1,300!!! This product makes absolutely no sense for a mobile car valeter whatsoever. This is a luxury item for someone with money to burn. Awful product for a mobile valeter and a unit-based worker would use a mains device.
Yes that's the point I was trying to get across in the video. I was trying to highlight the failings of modern tech before I release my budget extractor video
It depends. I live in Burkina Faso and I totally see the point in investing in these machines : we got a lack of energy supply, I run a sofa car cleaning entreprise, many customers lack the power to supply professional machines, if you want to clean a car outdoor how do you do it ? Generator cost about the price of 3 batteries, very heavy, and costly to run. Buying that stuff for personal use of if you have a sure source of low cost energy (customers plug) it's useless though
@@guillaumeouedraogo6108 That's the point. as a car valeter working in a car sales centre what extractor would you reccomend. budget of round 100-200. would the bissel spot clean pro be good.
Sadly they aren't built to last so like domestic pressure washers they have very short lifespan

just add warm water
