QUESTION: I've made it successfully in the past. I just used the same formulation: 10 tablets, 2 tablespoons inulin and organic half-and-half. I used the same 8 jar yogurt maker. It came out liquidy. What could have gone wrong? And can I use that liquid to make another batch? Will it still have plenty of L-reuteri as a starter? Would love to hear the thoughts of anyone who successfully makes this.
Yes, the first batch sometimes comes out curds and whey. looking slightly separated. Very common. It's still good probiotic yogurt. You can use the liquid as well as the more solid yogurt as a starter for your next batch, which should come out looking more like you wanted!
@@pamelaoyoga the reason why I asked I made three batches the first with the tablets that one came out a thin layer of curd on to of the whey lots of separation I tried a different batch that one came out better but it has a hint of cheese smell and taste a little like cream cheese but more sour so I made a third with the whey from the first one that one came out a little separated this has a faint smell of cheese as well but it taste good. The taste on on all of them is not bad and the smell makes you wanna eat it. The overall taste is a little tangy sweet sour it still taste better than regular yogurt but I don’t know what to judge it off of that’s why I was asking

What does it taste like ?
@@leongetz1931 The L-reuteri tastes a bit more tangy than the Kefir yogurt or SIBO yogurt. So I like to drizzle honey or date syrup or add fruit.
